Takeru is a sprightly young NEET who lives in a dilapidated dojo. He and his family are known martial artists, but his father is a deadbeat; a gambling drunkard constantly getting into fights. Meanwhile, he refuses to work, claiming it to be part of his training. Ichinose Suzuka from the neighboring sweets shop often takes care of him.
One day, he picks up a strange, lizard-like being on the side of the road. At first, he planned to cook it, but Suzuka vetoes the idea. Instead, he names it "Haru" and keeps it as a pet. As he grows fonder of Haru, dragonkin suddenly invade from space!
The dragons are about to take over earth, but Haru suddenly transforms from a lizard into a beautiful lady and persuades them! Wouldn't you know it -- Haru was actually the princess of the dragons!

It's fine, but I expected more content...3 found this helpful
Way to go, writer. You killed the mood in the very beginning with this sentence: "Someone in the crowd uttered the keyword:" "Dragons" Using "keyword" instead of "word" greatly diminished the delivery impact of "Dragons" Even though the writing is occasionally marred with nonsense like that, it turns out to be a decent enough story with some finely drawn female characters. The writer thinks "peak" means to look quickly or furtively. "Peek" means to look quickly or furtively. Peak means the best or the top of a mountain. Idiot. This game needs its 18+ patch to be fully appreciated. Without it, it's just downright lame.3 found this helpful
Slobbish Dragon Princess, developed by Whirlpool and published by Sekai Project, is a lighthearted romantic comedy visual novel that blends fantasy and humor in equal measure. It centers on a lazy young man named Takeru, a self-proclaimed NEET who spends his days idly at his family’s dojo. His mundane existence takes an absurd turn when he encounters a mysterious small creature that turns out to be Haru, the princess of dragons. What begins as a seemingly insignificant discovery quickly escalates into chaos when Haru’s kind decides to invade Earth—only for their princess to ignore her royal duties and instead join Takeru in his slacker lifestyle. The premise alone sets the tone for the kind of story Whirlpool excels at: a mix of ridiculous fantasy elements, cheerful romance, and self-aware humor that pokes fun at both its characters and its genre conventions. From the outset, the game makes no attempt to disguise its comedic roots. The dialogue is fast-paced, filled with playful banter, over-the-top reactions, and situational humor that comes from the stark contrast between Haru’s regal dragon heritage and Takeru’s lazy indifference. Haru’s curiosity about human customs leads to c…2 found this helpful
mid story, if you installed the nsfw patch, be prepared for extremely dumb sex scene with 0 build up like an hour ish into the story... i instantly stopped playing after that
To be honest, it doesn't reach the level of the Animal Trail ☆ Girlish Square series for me, but I still have to give it a recommendation because Suzuka is so freaking cute. I'm someone who really enjoys this kind of silly comedy, and the writing is decent enough. There are some... things I don't like, and although the main character and his schtick are a little frustrating, it gives rise to some genuinely funny jokes. Sadly, there are many translation errors, and I hope the sequels are better in that regard. Anyway, what matters is that the girls are super charming. The character art is obviously very pretty, and the voice acting is great.
I love fellow dragons. Silly cute and attractive characters. 7/10 decent game.
