About This Game

It started with an email.Just a little game in the attachment. A simple spot-the-difference puzzle. You’ve seen a thousand of them.
What’s the harm in one more download?Smile Dog is a psychological horror experience inspired by the classic 2008 creepypasta - a descent into early internet dread, where the line between fiction, memory, and malware gets... blurry.

KEY FEATURES

 • Your Desktop is the Game: Watch your own system turn against you. Wallpapers glitch. Images are unsettling. The UI breaks in ways that feel a little too real. Something is slipping through - and it’s not part of the game.
 • Your Inbox is Watching: It starts with spam. Then it starts getting... personal. The story unfolds through emails that know things they shouldn’t. Some of them feel like they're waiting for you to reply.
 • A Creepypasta Reimagined: This is Smile Dog like you’ve never seen it. We’ve kept the spirit of the original, but added a new layer of unease.
 • Trhee Possible Endings: Your choices - or your failures - decide how the story closes. Each ending reveals a different layer of the Smile Dog.

It's a shorter game, but very cute! I love cozy horror like this, and 12 year old me who loved creepypasta is very happy. :)

A short and cute way to bring a creepypasta to life, perhaps pricy since it can be completed within an hour, but still recommended,

I love creepy pasta stories and this game is amazing! It gives that creepy under the skin chills feeling as you see your own name in the game plus other little things that add to the atmosphere.

This game is based on the Smile Dog creepypasta and the whole thing looks and feels like an old desktop from the early internet era and the art style is genuinely unsettling in a really good way! Fun experience, just keep in mind it's on the shorter side, took me a little over an hour to get all three endings. If you're into creepypasta or indie horror it's totally worth it.

RATING: 7/10 AVERAGE RUN: ~30 minutes This game is a simple, haunted game creepypasta that shows off the 'Smile Dog' creepypasta story. With 3 endings, for $3, it's an alright game. I feel like the game could benefit from a longer playtime, perhaps more picture levels, more lore-based emails. Maybe even some alternative routes you can take, like having an ending for not making any mistakes in the game, or an ending for making too many mistakes (other than getting more emails). But, for what it's worth, it's a fun little game. I managed to 100% this game in about 2 hours, I probably could've done it faster if I used a guide. Overall, solid game, could use a little more content.
