NO JUEGEN EL JUEGO DE MIERDA ES UNA BASURA

SnaPaul is a very short first person psychological horror game that puts me inside a dark and disturbing house and gives me roughly 30 minutes to find out what is going on. There is not much to learn before I start, which I actually think works well here. I am mostly exploring, looking around for clues and trying to work out what the house is hiding. The whole thing is designed around atmosphere and tension rather than complicated gameplay, so I can get into it almost immediately. The house is easily the strongest part for me. The dark rooms, narrow spaces and strange sounds make simple exploration feel more uncomfortable than it probably should. I never know if the next room is going to be quiet or if something is about to happen, and that uncertainty does a lot of the work. I also like that the game does not need a huge amount of mechanics to create tension. Walking around somewhere that feels wrong can be enough when the sound and timing are handled properly. There are also some hidden things for me to find, and the four achievements give me a small reason to pay attention rather than simply rushing towards the ending.
