I'm really surprised by how this game caught me. It is simple but very well designed: Gameplay: It is physical! The combination of dodging the opponent's snowballs while rebuilding your fort, aiming, throwing, etc will challenge you. But this sense of emergency is Snow Fort's big success: recreating this stressful amusement that we experienced as kids, playing with snow. I really feel like a kid in winter again playing this game. I am quite exhausted after a battle, but it is this kind of fun exhaustion resulting of gentle horseplay. The Arcade aspect of the game allows rest between battles, which is much needed. NewtonVR physics are pretty good, but throwing snowballs takes a bit of training to gain in accuracy and feel ok with the controller as an extend of my hand. I can't wait to see more games like that once VR Gloves become more accessible to the public. Different modes are available, so far my favorite is the Survival one, that reminds me Long Bow VR and is a good balance of aiming / dodging / building / strategy. 8.5/10 Music/Sound: The music is pleasant and definitely brings us into a peaceful Winter time vibe. The sound design is basic but efficient. …3 found this helpful
Great VR game for kids, surprising amount of content for the cost. Adults will have some fun too, but my recommendation is for kids.2 found this helpful

Fun game for kids to play around with! There were times that the snowballs would go right through the enemy's wall and not do anything which was frustrating. But overall the game is great and cute! https://youtu.be/rgDw3X_gVDA1 found this helpful
Family-friendly battle type game. Runs smooth. Think it will be good to introduce some friends to VR who aren't in to the gun/gore stuff or can't handle too much flashly lights or chaos. I'm sure it would be fun to battle friends in as well. Suggestion: Would recommend different buttons for fort block control vs snowballs, because I keep grabbing the blocks when I'm trying to make/throw snowballs. e.g. for Vive, I like trigger for building/throwing snowball ; but would prefer if grip was used to handle the fortress blocks.1 found this helpful
Family fun with just 3 issues... 1) Cannot change the camera position, so you will need to accommodate the annoying positioning issue. 2) Too easy to lose the catapult and sore shoulders are inevitable when throwing. 3) Throwing mechanics are terrible and inconsistent (think they're encouraging gentles throws & makes it harder) Other than these three things this game is AWESOME FUN! Basic game is this; Build a fort out of snow and Ice. then snowball fight with snowmen until you win or lose. The blocks are either provided or delivered through a portal. There are small single blocks, double blocks, long four single blocks, huge square 8 blocks and a variety of tetris shaped blocks too. The blocks are either snow or ice, and the only rule is that ice on ice will slip (which is cool). Breaking Ice takes longer than snow & is see-through. You can obtain a number of tools (catapult, shield & water bottle to which repairs your blocks)...there may be others i have yet to find. Your opponents base can have multiple ? boxes and these do various things like explode (very handy) repair your catapult or current tool, and also give you health back (you have 3 hearts each round).
