About Soccer Kids Alpha
A game about soccer, made by people who suck at playing soccer.
Soccer Kids is a tactical, turn-based sports game where you control a teenage mathematical savant, guiding his friends on a quest to win the local street soccer tournament.
The game is set in Poland in the 90s - a period where the country transitioned from a socialist republic to a democracy with a free market. It focuses on the latchkey kids of this period, who fell in love with the new cultural influence from around the world.
Check out the game for free in its early stages and share your feedback with us, we'd love to hear it!

The current version of the game features:
- Tight, grid-less tactical action. No match is ever the same!
- Play the tutorial, or
- Against a AI opponent, or
- Against your friends in a local hot seat match, or
- Online through the magic of Remote Play Together!
This is a early, alpha version of Soccer Kids - all content is subject to change.

Very fun and unique style of a soccer game its really fun though. But I feel like its almost impossible to play defense against the AI because they just run by me.
This game is probably the best turn based football game I've ever played. Yet it's unfinished (tutorial + free single game) and buggy (the screen sometimes turn black with just a few elements in it and you need to restart the game if it happens). I'd be happy to support the development if they take it back, but for now the devs are on a break. I'll change my review to positive when they just fix a few things. We just need some bug fix and a tournament hot-seat mode to be happy :)
Is this game dead?
What a great game! The mechanics are really polished for its stage of development. I had two crashes, and once my opponent was left wondering what to do next for what felt like forever, but that's understandable given it's an alpha version. It's definitely a gem of a project, and it would be wonderful if the devs continued working on it. It's unacceptable that so much talent is going to waste.
i'm excited
I am biased cause this game looks almost exactly like my childhood. Played through the basics and will have to buy it as soon as it comes out. Not too easy, needs polishing, but fun and engaging.
