(note: since the game is pretty much identical to the developer's other solitaire games, my reviews are also very similar.) the usual +1/-1 solitaire with two gameplay modes, one lets you replay individual levels (my preference), the other only entire sets of 10 levels, and you can only start pro mode after playing a bit on newbie. there are 120 levels and completion depends on removing the gold cards, so much so that when you click on the last one, the round ends with a perfect rating, no matter how many cards are left. it's kind of weird because you might miss out on some extra money, but there's a lot of it anyway and you only need it for power-ups, so it's not a huge deal. there are 3 helpers (undo, joker and shuffle), and undo is 'universal' instead of per level, which I'm not a fan of, it makes levels a lot more difficult (or frustrating), but there's something to spend money on, at least, and since you can do so anytime while playing, it can also trivialize levels. as usual, it's a matter of self-control and patience (or impatience), though a more balanced and less power-up-reliant game would've worked too. the music is fine, if not as good as in some other solita…

Solitaire Legend of the Pirates is a basic mobile-app like solitaire puzzle game. Solve various puzzle levels using Klondike style card moving and matching. It's been done a million times before, for free, and free on mobile app stores too... yet this one has a hefty price tag on it. Who knew you can just charge $5 for mobile trash? I guess Creobit does. The developer, Creobit/8Floor, has copy + pasted this game an insane SEVENTY FOUR TIMES onto Steam with minor reskins... why cash in on one asset if you can cash in on multiple copies of the same game? Asset flipping begins at home! Here's a list of Creobit's copy + pastes of this asset:

Dangerous Solitaire. Zombie Fever
Dark Solitaire. Mystical Circus
Detective Solitaire Inspector Magic and the Man Without Face
Detective Solitaire Inspector Magic
Detective Solitaire The Ghost Agency 1 + 2
Detective Solitaire. Butler Story 1 + 2
Detective Solitaire: Inspector Magic And The Forbidden Magic
Egypt Solitaire. Match 2 Cards
Fairytale Solitaire. Witch Charms
Fairytale Solitaire: Red Riding Hood
Gnomes Solitaire
Holiday Solitaire Easter
Knight Solitaire 1-3
Mystery Soli…

Solitaire Legend of the Pirates is a lighthearted solitaire adventure that combines classic card-based gameplay with a cheerful pirate theme. Developed by Somer Games and published by 8floor, the game takes players on a treasure-hunting voyage across tropical islands and pirate strongholds, transforming a familiar card experience into a casual journey filled with exploration, rewards, and colorful scenery. Rather than focusing on an elaborate storyline, the game uses its pirate setting to create an engaging backdrop that gives purpose to each level and encourages players to continue their search for legendary riches. At its core, the game follows a proven solitaire formula that is easy to understand yet capable of providing satisfying strategic challenges. Players must clear cards by selecting values that are either one rank above or below the active card. While the mechanics are simple enough for newcomers to grasp within minutes, later stages require more thoughtful planning and careful use of available resources. With 120 levels spread across 12 unique locations, the game offers a substantial amount of content for fans of casual card games. Each new area introduces fresh layout…

This is much like any other solitaire game, except maybe a bit harder. Some layouts are tricky, if you want to get a perfect score. I liked this enough to play through both modes with perfect scores. There are no Steam achievements, but there are in-game achievements. The normal price is a bit high. I think I paid something like €0,80 for this, which was a fair price.

Full disclosure: I got this game on sale for .49 cents USD. And, being generous, it's worth about that. The music is pretty enough, even beautiful in places. But for the first time the card front and backs were just OK while playing. Different layouts to be sure, but the same mechanic of making you grind for cash if the RNG Gods don't smile on you. Some hands were literally unwinnable. I mean, there was no way to win with the cards given. Then it becomes a mind-numbing application of jokers, which isn't much fun. I think maybe at one point this studio cared, and maybe they still do. But the mechanic of having to grind just isn't fun. And the backgrounds just left me meh this time. This one is definitely a miss with me, even on sale.
