About Sovereign Elect
Sovereign Elect is a game centered around accumulating influence. Your ultimate goal is to become the sovereign of the land. To do this, you must gain influence, which is primarily done through mercenaries you hire. Mercenaries come in different rarities. They each have different stats and abilities which effect your methods of obtaining merit. Once merit is obtained, it can be converted into influence by your mercenaries.
You will obtain contracts that you can use to hire new mercenaries. Your group will start off small, but given time, you can reach up to a total of 40 mercenaries. You cannot become king if you do not have a band of loyal followers.
Activities are represented by small icons the player can interact with. If they are related to merit, your mercenaries will interact with them automatically. This also includes enemies, which will target you if no mercenaries are present to defend you. Activities that give merit come in 4 varieties: Strength, Dexterity, Charisma, and Wisdom. These correlate with attributes your mercenaries have, which are represented by the color on their glove. Certain abilities your mercenaries have may also behave differently depending on the attribute/color they associate with. With this in mind, the type of mercenaries you decide to have matters.DLC & expansions
Warning: AI Slop This game is partially or completely made with talentless, soulless AI generated content.
"Sovereign Elect" looks like some kind of strategic RPG, but really this is a web-browser tier idler/incrementer where you pretend you're playing a real game, but really you're just being pushed to buy toxic proced DLC so the developer can get paid for polluting Steam and insulting gamers with digsusting AI slop. The developers haven't touched this for 4 months. It's in development hell and never be completed. This unfinished game is just polluting Steam and making it harder for gamers to find genuinely, completely made games. As mentioned, this features really godawful, "wrong" looking AI slop instead of genuinely and sincerely created game assets. It's hard to say if this was because the developer didn't have the skill to do the job of creating real game assets or couldn't afford to hire someone who does, but it also doesn't matter. What matters is that this looks bad because of that decision. AI slop sticks out like a sore thumb... and it comes across as insulting. There's also the old adage t…8 found this helpful
I've been playing this game for a few weeks now and had unlocked a bunch of acheivements, yesterday I went to log on and it started me at the beginning of the game. In a progression game like this having everything erased is pretty soul-crushing.. Wasn't sure where else to write this. Maybe support can help?
fun idle type game
A whole lot of nothing
word for the wise... when people play idle games... they actually don't play it to wait... encouraging Semi-active supervision is painful.. you can't Tab out or leave it without missing out on stuff... nor is it actually proactive enough to be forth attention... i legit was falling sleep playing this... if i play this again, it's to cure insomnia...
You go to a field, collect "mastery" for a short bit, and then you return to town to convert your "mastery" into "influence". You have a very low soft cap on mastery which forces you to return to town quite often. All the while you're gathering, the occasional item or buff will drop and must be clicked for you to get the effect or item aka busy work to keep you "engaged". Even upgrading your tools does little to offset the boring grind with slight increases to your mastery softcap. Overall, the game is boring by a wide margin.
