About Noble Fates

Build, Craft, Farm, Mine, Hunt, and more. Embrace the unique set of Beliefs that unite your Nobility. Distribute wealth to satisfy their ambitions. Defend them from threats and foster relationships with your neighbors. Speak to visitors to identify fits and grow your ranks. Trade to acquire magical items that augment their skills. Loot the dead or imprison and rob the living. Force prisoners into a life of servitude through intimidation. Bask in the adoration and appreciation of a generous reign or face the consequences of living as a tyrant.

In a far, far away land, mortals vie for control over a physical plane of existence. A collection of gods oversee this plane, lending their powers to those they see fit in pursuit of balance. Denizens of other planes reach their hands (and claws) in, many seeking nothing but chaos. You are a Kontra, a Demigod with the power to influence and control mortals. Though still a novice, you seek to build a kingdom worthy of lasting recognition.

You haven't had much luck so far...
Mortals have Alignment and Opinions which make them unique. They have Memories where they store the interactions that have impacted them the most. Their Alignment, Opinions, and Memories drive their reactions and decisions.

Embrace the unique set of Beliefs that unite your Mortals to keep them happy!

A highly motivated Mortal will do everything in their power to rise to the top and make their foes pay while making sure everyone knows why. Each playthrough is seeded with a simulated history of Mortals and interactions that form the basis of where your story starts.

Mortals learn, they influence one another, and their Skills and Ambitions grow. Gods reward their growth with powerful Abilities. Eventually they age, regress, and die.
Take control of your ruler in third person to appreciate your kingdom from a new perspective! Embark on a peaceful stroll through your forest. Hunt a local herd of deer for food using your trusty magical bow. Butter up a trader to lower their prices for a good deal. Convince a visiting Noble to defect from their liege lord and donate their goods to your cause. Live out cinematic moments where you hop down from the battlements to ambush your foes or use your skills to keep the attention of a giant beast while your people bring it down.
Beyond other Mortals, a growing threat has culminated in the appearance of Demonic Carbuncles across the lands. Break them open to take on the challenge of the Demonic Breach - yielding endless waves of Demons with scaling rewards. Face the Breacher, a demon that can lay waste to even the strongest defenses. Wield the local Mage's powers to push back the threat and seal the Breach before everyone dies. Bask in the glory of besting overwhelming odds or forego the rewards and choose the safer path. It's up to you.

A Kingdom continues as long as you have someone left to wear the crown. The loss of a ruler can render the reason behind a longstanding feud moot or bring a forgotten injustice back to the forefront. Opinions of a new ruler will differ and people will react accordingly.

Keep your people alive and happy to secure their legacy!

The loss of the Kingdom is but the end of a chapter in a World's story...

Great game, but could use some expanding or fixing in a few areas. There are a lot of things I like about it, and even prefer over games like Rimworld or Dwarf Fortress, but I'll focus on the issues that made me stop playing this game after 3 days: TL;DR: Great game for the most part, but a bunch of issues bottle up so it's fun for a weekend, but then you drop it. The world map is a bit confusing. You can't really do anything from there beyond talk to the rulers of other areas, or visit. Your borders change constantly as a side-effect of random events, rather than something you can specifically control and manage, so your borders are basically just meaningless and you can essentially ignore the world map entirely. The building is great, but some of the roof setups end up wonky, so making tiered roofs, houses with different levels of roofs, or pointed roofs become hard to look good. For example, a 3-story house with a 2-story section will have an ugly roof on the lower section, because the game lacks a corner for the "roof sloped against a wall" piece. The conversion dialogue and options are extremely repetitive. To get a visitor to like your ruler, you basically have a solid 5…

This is the best evolution of Rimworld I have ever seen, and believe me guys I've seen a lot. Continue the good work devs, this game may have a great potential.

Awesome Game with already many features and (non negative) time consuming grippin gameplay. Kind of a Fantasy Civ Sim without magic. If they improve on whats already there then it can only get better. Occasional bugs or Framerate drops but support helpsout fast and very efficiently. Love it Edit: quick feedback: - Copy Paste building feature would be nice for easier city building - maybe guarding could be done better in the sense that guarding feels like a useless function with only 11 to 15 people in the beginning as theres not a lot of need for it imo - not enough fantasy armour in the sense that after steel theres still too little progression

Awesome take on a Rimworld-like colony sim in a fantasy medieval setting. I enjoy the goofiness and the level of detail in character personality. It being 3D with simulated projectiles is a huge plus for me, and the recent addition of water flowing is super awesome (though I haven't tried out the simple machines yet that also came with that update). I do think that building and digging (specifically vertical digging) could use some quality-of-life updates, and I wish I could toggle the camera to ignore the boundaries set by structures. I also want keys for adjusting camera elevation, as to my knowledge elevation is automatically adjusted for based on angle and location to objects, which can be frustrating when trying to zoom in on the ground when you have bridges or ramparts above. I also have minor complaints about mortal behavior (seeming to eat food they dislike when a meal they would prefer is available, and occasionally getting stuck when digging or building). Overall though this game is great, and I have faith in the continued support of the developers based on the number of recent updates. I absolutely recommend. P.S. if anyone wants to make a Shadows of the Apt …

The game is lazily punctuated, which makes the repetitive, annoying task of manually spamming tens of similar dialogue options in order to raise a character's opinion doubly insufferable. Every one of those lines is supposed to end with a full stop, and only half of them do. It adds cold disappointment to my existing ire every time I see it, which is FREQUENTLY. There's also one line inexplicably in the past tense instead of present tense like all the others, which introduces a confusing, ominous incongruity if given a modicum of thought; where other lines read "I like you" (sans period), they say "I loved my kingdom." Like, do you no longer love it?? Did you finally notice that the screen-monopolizing dialogue interludes are fully missing words in places, "vambraces" has been spelled with an E for some reason, and the target audience of the game's humor -- elementary-schoolers jejune enough to enjoy a character calling Dwarf meat "poopy" as a way to express his dislike of it before being raided by the "Wall Farters" -- is also the age demographic actively being instructed in these grammar fundamentals on a daily basis, and thus the most likely to notice when you fail…

Very enjoyable to play, shares a lot of similarities with Rimworld (for the better)
