Start Small. Command Everything.
Your journey begins with a single ship - but what you become is up to you.

A Living, Simulated Universe
The universe of X4 is fully simulated and constantly evolving.

Construct space stations, establish trade networks, and control entire production chains.
Design and expand your infrastructure using a modular system, building stations that power your economy, manage supply chains, and automate production as your empire grows into a self-sustaining powerhouse.
Fight and Command
Engage in real-time combat and take direct control of your ships - or command entire fleets strategically.
From small skirmishes to large-scale battles, every encounter is shaped by your tactics and decisions.

65 hours and I feel like I'm just getting started.
This is a great game, even with the awkward UI and auto pilot still not 100%. Having reached 350 hours I have finally got into terraforming, which is a pain although worthwhile. I skipped the last 3 dlc's so maybe I don't have the full experience yet it has been really fun so far. I kinda dread trying to find all of the vaults without using a guide but I'm gonna give it a go. The ability to replay the game so you can change the outcome of some quests is nice. Adding mods to your ships can really make a difference too. The 9.0 update has definitely changed things for the better.
@320'isj hours, I have defeatet my first Xenon destroyer I. A massive attack from my defence srations subs and it melted like butter in the sun. This game gives many challanges, as you chose them. Military, exploration, construction, logistics and trade, a key to success I imagine.
Hardly any tutorial. Forget everything you thought you knew about space games. It seems that the game has a Contrarian AI that makes it seem that if you make a move it is wrong and you have to take many other steps to reach a goal that should be simple. Achievements are overly complicated. You have to have infinite patience and be highly intelligent to play this game. I found myself using google almost every step of the way and it was usually wrong. Other than that it's a great game.
CK3 in Space! Say...can I marry that short blue woman over there? Come with me
After all this time, this game is still absolute, overly complicated, convoluted garbage.
