Spider Fear

[h1]Before I played Spider Fear, I had a small pp, no friends, no gf, depression, and no life. These things havent changed, but the game is pretty good[/h1]

I do not have a fear of spiders as this game was intended to help with, they're actually my favorite animal of all time, i searched "spider" trying to find fun spider games on steam, and was surprised to find a vr game, there are, in fact, a multitude of spiders in this game, and that makes me very happy, it seems like the AI of the spiders often like to ignore you or run away more than attack you, which i also like, as that's how spiders are in real life, so even if unintentionally, it reinforces the idea that spiders don't really wanna hurt you i came into this game expecting to stab spiders with a sword, instead i got two swords so my expectations were met twofold. 20/10

Игра 'Spider Fear' - это хоррор-игра, которая действительно заставляет дрожать от страха. Основной упор сделан на напряженную атмосферу и постоянное ожидание появления жутких пауков. Геймплей довольно прост, но эффективен: мы исследуем темные локации, решаем головоломки и, конечно же, отбиваемся от назойливых восьминогих тварей. Дизайн пауков выполнен очень качественно, и даже у тех, кто равнодушен к ним, пробегают мурашки по коже. Игра неплохо оптимизирована и работает плавно, графика достаточно детализированная, чтобы усилить эффект погружения. Звуковое сопровождение тоже на высоте: скрипы, шорохи и паучьи звуки заставляют постоянно оглядываться. Недостаток, пожалуй, в некоторой однообразности геймплея и локаций. Хотелось бы больше разнообразия в головоломках и окружении. Тем не менее, 'Spider Fear' - это отличный выбор для любителей хорроров, которые не боятся взглянуть в глаза своим страхам (особенно, если этот страх - пауки). Игра действительно способна напугать и доставить массу острых ощущений. Рекомендую играть в наушниках и в полной темноте, чтобы получить максимальное удовольствие (или ужас!) от процесса.

1st things first the teleport does not work really well at all which makes the controls awful. Keep in mind I was using a quest 2 and Steam VR so maybe the controls are better on HTC or WMR. Other than that it's an okay VR experience. Not a whole lot to it just beat up spiders. It gets boring after a few minutes and while playing I fell through the stairs. It was also a bit strange not seeing health bar but on the plus side it's free to play.
