Spinwave Survivors is a fast-paced survival shooter with roguelike elements. Scoot, shoot and boost your way through hordes of drones as you upgrade your weapons and unlock new abilities, all while attempting the survive the chaos.
- Drive around to avoid enemies, then set up the best angles to unleash a swarm of bullets at them, bonus points for taking down more in a combo!
- Boost through enemies to turn invincible and deal damage to enemies, kill enemies to recharge boost.
- Collect XP to level up and unlock powerful upgrades
- Hold your ground to capture objectives and receive power ups
- Take on challenging but quick runs, designed to last around 10 minutes and still give plenty of room for experimentation.
- Test your speed in the time attack game mode, where killing enemies decreases the clock from ticking down. Run out of time and it's game over
- Upgrade your vehicle, weapons and abilities during a run to help you survive longer.
- Purchase permanent upgrades to increase your strength
- Over 150 passive and active upgrades, with multiple levels to build.
- Complete challenges to unlock new weapons, upgrades, maps, enemies and drivers, each with their own benefits and playstyles.

[/h3] SpinWave Survivors is a survivors game with a twist, instead of controlling a person who can move easily in any direction, this has you driving a vehicle which adds a unique challenge to the gameplay. Weapons are fired where you're facing (save for a few interesting later pick ups) which means positioning yourself becomes that much more integral to your strategy, married up with a satisfying boost mechanic to blow through enemies at high speed. Personally runs have lasted around the 10 minute mark with potential for more or less (based on skill), with one main objective for the run and smaller objectives that offer rewards mid-run. There are also upgrades outside of your runs to offer better stats for greater odds for future plays. SpinWave is extremely replayable, and scratches that "one more run" itch. Incredibly fun game, I would definitely say it is worth the $5. I sunk an hour into this game in which felt like minutes, I had a lot of fun. Unlocks are very reasonable and tangible, the gameplay is smooth and fun. I also feel like it has a cool soundtrack. I honestly like the art style a lot. I will definitely be playing some more of this, it is great for when you have some time to kill. I would like to see a personal stat system implemented at some point. Overall, I am looking forward to future updates and to see the potential this game has going forward. Thank you for the opportunity for me to play this game.1 found this helpful
