Squares and Stuff

Take my review with a grain of salt since I had early access to this game. That aside, it's a fun little sandbox game that for the price is more than worth a shot. It's flexible enough to allow for general messing around, pixel art and even simple platformer levels. Though it's yet to be seen how many levels there might be, workshop support is super fun and allows you to easily show off what you've done.

I love ShotDash but my god this is terrible. Its a sandbox with nothing to do. I beg, please go back to TFBA, that game was genuinely fun.

Squares and stuff is a delightful game that will keep you hooked for hours on end as you create whatever your heart desires. There’s so many options on what to do so feel free to go ham and try everything. From sharing your creations with others and publishing them is where you will spend most of your time. Squares and stuff is a must play for anyone.

Squares and Stuff provides a great way to make your own levels or art and share it all within one package. The level editor is very simple to use, yet allows for surprising depth in the different kinds of scenarios you're able to create. You can use motion triggered bombs to open passages or set off traps, you can create mazes of saws for other players to navigate through, or you can just draw some cool art for others to look at. There are still a few bugs that need ironing out, but overall, Squares and Stuff is a very charming game that is definitely worth your time.

Great game! Kinda like if somebody fused Mario Maker with MS Paint, it just oozes charm. Tons of fun tools to mess around with and create with.
