Ever wanted level 10 on your gold-silver bow with a mithril string and a cactus on it? No? Well, with the forging system you can use whatever material you want!
Furthermore, there are paintings to collect, bosses to slain, music to play, precious ores to mine, dungeons to loot, villager to trade with and get mini quests from, plants and trees to grow and a high tech airship to craft (out of leather, steel and wood. Trust me, it flies!)

I Like it. Played Squareworld over 50 hours.7 found this helpful
Don't waste your money on this garbage. An unplayable POS game. The game is so broken it's not even funny. You need to make a account for MP play. Why? Lots of MP games where this is un-needed. Even though the game lets you reassign keys, the game doesn't register that you reassigned them. For instance I changed the recipe book from 'R' to 'C'. The game kept telling me to hit 'R' for recipe which had no effect. In game objects don't line up. For instance, trees floating in the air. First game: The house you start in, you can't reach the top floor where the bed & chest is since you can't jump that high. There's no way to get to that level to see if anything is in the chest. The tutorial tells you to craft a chest with 2 logs and a stick. The problem is you don't have the tools to actually get the items needed. You only start with a sword and 27 apples. So how am I supposed to chop down tree? Am I to magically pull everything out of my butt? Instead of monster garphics, I got floating attacking red squares. There we go again, press 'U' to open quests, but the key does nothing. Hit F1 for help, nope, no help there, shows you the original keys, not how you reassigned them. Gets co…6 found this helpful

Won this game in a giveaway and decided to give it a try. The first few hours were a bit overwhelming for me, it took some time for me to grasp the controls and mechanics of the game. After I was equipped properly, the game started to become a lot of fun though. I loved exploring, gathering materials and crafting new and better stuff, it felt almost addicting. This game certainly has some flaws, but I enjoyed it thoroughly.3 found this helpful
I had this game on my wishlist since 2018 and with the current sale price I decided to give it a chance. First impressions are very positive. The mechanics are a mix of Terraria, Minecraft, Starbound and some other games. It seems there's a decent variety of creatures, workstations and items to craft. There's a lot of planets to explore (at least from what I saw on the map, and what introductory quest suggests), so there should be plenty to do in this game. I wondered why this game never took off, as I see it still gets occasionally updated (last update in 2023). I think it just lacks enough reviews. It only has 9 counted reviews, and I heard that after 10 it gets recommended much more in Discovery Queue, so I hope my review will help, as the game looks like it should be way more popular, especially at this price point.
2026 01 31: Got bored as was seeking for a calmer building survival game than Terraria which recently had a huge update. I'm just not feeling the constant mob encounters in Terraria and similar. I've had this title in my library for a while now. From another review it seems there was an update in 2023 and the dev had addressed some complaints. However, it's now 2026 and the current recent review was from July of 2024. There were never any cloud saves and I don't expect cloud saving on an indy title that isn't popular. I can't recommend this title. I've crashed to desktop twice. If you fumble around in certain menus, specifically if you hit ESC then click the crafting book to the far right of the screen and interact with the tabs on the center menu -it breaks the other tabs to the far right. The center menu gets stuck displaying the crafting book information. So, I've started wondering what has caused my crashes and frankly it makes me feel like I shouldn't keep playing as I'm going to be at risk of losing progression. It could be a script issue with the menus, or the way terrain generates where there are trees that get placed fragmented, or it could be something else entirely. I…
