About Star Rangers
Star Rangers is an isometric space RPG where every journey beyond the inhabited systems could be your last. The game takes place in the distant future, when humanity has already mastered interstellar travel. You arrive in a remote star system on the edge of the galaxy, where civilization is barely holding on after a devastating war. The fleet has not yet been rebuilt, communication is unstable, and resource extraction zones have been taken over by unknown forces. You control a ship, explore dangerous sectors of space, and make decisions that affect the survival of people in this system. This is one of those games that look interesting, but end up being rather lackluster at best, it's still in EA and stated as a prototype game, so really one is stuck asking why a 'prototype' game was released as part of the EA program... at least the graphics are ok, but the gameplay... not so ok... i leave it at that, perhaps in the future it'll work better. PS, even though EN was selected for the language, information of importance was written in RU only, so that only adds to the confusion, perhaps the team should find someone who can translate from RU to EN, it'd probably go a long way to appealing to players long-term, unless they want to keep the game within the RU community only...3 found this helpful
It's nice game for an evening chill. I'm waiting for updates
