I'm so sad that this game is dead (as in the devs doesn't seem to do any updates/add content). I really like the "gatcha-game-format" of collecting characters, but I despise micro transactions, pay to win and content locked behind paywalls. THIS GAME however, have the gatcha but WITHOUT in-game transactions! You only pay for the game itself, the rest is quite easily obtained by just playing the game! The campaign is quite short, and when you're done with it, there's not much to do besides some PvP and PvE "survival mode". Or just collect and fully upgrade your favorite characters. Some flaws I want you to know about before buying this game: - As mentioned before, the game is "dead". There are no updates, events or new content added. - The game crashes if it has been on for about 1h, which can be frustrating. But tbh, it's quick to boot up again and it's not like you fight long difficult boss battles or anything. - There are a few graphics and texture glitches sometimes, but those are not really game breaking. - It is definitely not worth it's full price. I bought it on sale for like 4-5€, and I would not spend more than that. - I do not own the DLC, but I've read tha…1 found this helpful
game keeps crashing
A bit repetitive, but a lot of fun nonetheless. Not sure how the replayability is, but I hop in daily and have for months.
After investing 143 hours into Star Trek: Legends, collecting all 99 crew members, purchasing every available DLC, and completing virtually everything the game has to offer, I ultimately decided to uninstall it. This review comes from the perspective of someone who genuinely wanted the game to succeed. My experience started on a very positive note. The tactical combat is engaging, the Star Trek atmosphere is excellent, and collecting characters from across the franchise was genuinely rewarding. Building and upgrading my roster kept me invested throughout the campaign, and for a long time I believed this would become one of my favorite Star Trek games. Unfortunately, once I reached the endgame, the experience stopped evolving. After completing the campaign and unlocking the entire roster, progression became an endless cycle of replaying the same missions, shuttle assignments, Operations, PvP battles, and daily objectives. I even replayed the Welcome mission enough times to completely max out the crew member earned through it because there simply wasn't anything new to replace it. normally i enjoy these types of games. but this one has game breaking bugs that make it impossible to play for more than a few minutes at a time. this was not the case when i first got it, it was quite enjoyable upon its release. but now it's freezing up when you try to start a mission.
Fun game that you are able to play at anytime and rewards come easy to collect all characters
