Starters Orders is a horse racing management simulation that was born in 2003 and has been acclaimed by horse racing fans as THE premiere horse racing simulation ever since. Key game features:

Race at over 100 racecourses around the globe.
Realistic racing based on UK flat and jumps rules.
UK, North American, French, Irish, Australian and Japanese game modes.

Jockey new params. Fitness (may fluctuate due to profile parameters) and strength. Both parameters may affect riding usually in the finish. Jockey icon flashes during race when jockey is tired.
Jockeys mild injuries and fitness setbacks.
Horse maturity model improvements.
Recent jockey and trainer stats for current racecourse displayed on race menu.
Form hints for fancied runners (favourite) based on Collateral Form.
Global staff pool added. Assistant trainer, Head lad, Farrier, Stud Manager, Secretary, Groom.
'Find a race' search option added to some screens.
Breeding queue option (Stud Manager must be employed).
Extra large pool option also increases number of meetings per day.
Non feature race schedule and sim realism improvements.
Game/sim health screen added (desktop).
FRENCH style race and horse ratings option added (via trainer menu). Can apply to non French games (via trainer menu).
Auto training option related to Assistant trainer (staff). Option to set globally or for individual horse(s) added.
Breeding with Legends allowed (not any league mode desktop games). May be removed! Breeding fees are very high.
Race sequence tweaks and improvements.
Extended personal stats (trainers, jockeys and owners). Displayed on data screens.
AI trainers develop individual stables. Current custom stable image now displayed on trainer data screens.
Historic end of season horse awards stored and reported on horse data screens (under career highlights).
AI trainers now register achievements (displayed on trainer data screen).
New numerical stats (visible for owned horses only).
Saudi Arabia new nationality added.
New race and horse filters added on trainer menu.
All courses since SO7 have now been refreshed with extra detail and waypoints checked and improved.
