Warning: GameGuru Asset Flip!
Station 228 is a what Valve calls a "Fake Game". The "developer" bought the GameGuru first person shooter construction kit (no coding required, it's just a GUI!) and cobbled out a map or two using stock GameGuru assets... nothing in this game can fully be called the creation of the developer, and yet they also failed to credit GameGuru or acknowlegde any of the GameGuru assets. They're trying (badly) to pass someone else's work as their own. It's just a bunch of random GameGuru assets dropped around a really lazy, stock textured GameGuru map template. This time the developer sprung (or pirated) a Gameguru sci-fi asset pack and tried to make it look a little like it wasn't a Gameguru asset flip, by changing the default loading screen, but that's about all they did. Green-eyed Taxi/Narko Games have shown a repeat pattern of unethically dumping other people's work onto Steam as a cheap, nasty cash grab, through this account or through closely linked/alt accounts. Here's some examples so you can see for yourself:

"Dubs…4 found this helpful

Station 228 is an independent first-person shooter that takes players into the depths of a futuristic orbital laboratory where an ambitious scientific experiment has spiraled into catastrophe. The game's premise revolves around a facility dedicated to creating artificial lifeforms intended to assist humanity as it expands across the galaxy. Instead of becoming valuable allies, these engineered creatures revolt against their creators, transforming the once-secure station into a deadly battleground. Players assume the role of Ramses, a security officer who suddenly finds himself fighting for survival while searching for a path back to his family. Although the narrative remains relatively straightforward, it provides enough motivation to support the game's action-focused structure without distracting from its primary objective of delivering continuous combat. The gameplay embraces a traditional shooter formula that favors simple mechanics over modern complexity. Exploration unfolds through interconnected corridors, laboratories, and industrial sections of the station, where hostile enemies lurk around nearly every corner. Progress depends on eliminating threats, collecting stronger w…
I loved the game. There wasn't too much to it, I beat it twice in a row when I played it, noting that I got myself killed once as well. The weapons are really well-crafted and interesting in design, the crowbar's classic, but the futuristic shotgun and dual machine pistols are swell. The monsters are exciting and the environment is ominous, I'm pretty sure they're base assets from a game creator engine, as I've seen most of them in other low-cost independently made first-person shooters. I've played a lot of games that involve the level of detail and purpose as this game holds. They're notorious for having bad reviews, all, and people consistently show hatred and outrage at the kinds of products that are made in the fashion that this game is made. So, I liked it. It was fine, I enjoyed playing it. I wouldn't recommend it, but it is only a dollar, so no harm either way.
