Stellar Bewitching Remastered is such a solid RPG Maker game. 🌟 The plot is delightfully quirky—heading to another world to find a fake boyfriend, with our sassy slime familiar oozing lust at the shopkeeper whenever she can, keeps things hilariously unpredictable. Add a murderous penguin with a taste for the blood of his enemies, and a handsome lad trying to find his destiny in this strange new realm, and the story is full of charm and surprises. With lovely visuals, a fun soundtrack, and smooth combat, the game feels alive and fun to explore. I’m even more excited to continue my journey further through Starmage’s catalog—this one has me completely hooked!

So cute, funny, and enjoyable RPG! The combat system was engaging and easy to learn, much like Starmage's other game Heroes of the Seasons! I enjoy the storyline very much! Floryn the slime is a very funny character, and the penguin samurai was very cool and so edgy HAHAHA! I like playing on different environments! Very nicely designed areas for explore! I have a lot of fun with the boss battles and challenge, and I unlocked 2 endings for Pokie! Very great job to Starmage!

Stellar bewitching is a free, lighthearted RPG maker game, perfect for some casual unwinding. The story and the characters are not that serious. If the text wouldn’t make that clear enough, the derpy portraits surely make the intention of the creator(s) obvious – you are supposed to have a silly ride, with no need for seriousness. At the early fights there will be only two party members, and those fights will be somewhat challenging. Later on the party extends to 3 then finally to 4. There are several skills, opening up some variations. But in most cases I just stuck to the “optimal” setup – applying all the buffs and debuffs, and casting the double action on Elya, the protagonist, who was responsible for the healing and protection. On longer fights I mostly forgot to keep up some buffs / debuffs. Those are shown on small cycling circular icons for each effect (positive or negative). In the first half of the game you will have to figure out the weaknesses of the enemies through trial and error. Once learned, they will be shown later on. RPG Maker strikes again! It uses a construction kit meant for amateurs. "Stellar Bewitching (Remastered)" is just a collection of low quality assets and cringeworthy high school anime club dropout fan-fiction. This RPG Maker garbage is pure cringe... it's less of a game and more of a rambling RPG Maker high school anime club dropout fan-fiction all about, you guessed it, the developers imaginary girlfriend, who is an underaged teenage girl. Which makes this equal parts cringey and seriously creepy... you're guaranteed to throw up. Like other RPG Maker "games", the game engine is extremely low quality. It displays badly in fullscreen, and has no real graphics settings or HD support. It's not up to the same standard we expect from a modern PC game. We can make the argument that construction kit toys like RPG Maker are intended for making small games and demos and things to pass around with friends. They shouldn't be used as a substitute or "Ez-mode" to allow unqualified amateurs to LARP that they're real, actual game developers.
