I put a lot of hours into this game and have all of the achievements, so I obviously enjoyed it. That said, I also have my grievances...but I will try my best to keep it brief (except for the story portion, oh boy.) Gameplay first. This game has unlimited grinding *intentionally* by design. There are so many ways to improve your stats, I actually had a lot of fun with it. This is strictly subjective based on the fact that I like having the ability to optimize my builds to infinity and beyond. Things I didn't like about the grind and combat: * The respawn timers: The name is deceiving because it isn't time based at all-it's action based. Fighting monsters, and collecting things. In a game where you have to farm materials for craftables/weapons-it can be brutal at times. * Upgrading/Refining Equipment: I initially liked upgrading and refining in this game because I thought it was pretty unique-but it felt impossible to get "Best" quality on some items like chest pieces. I felt like I was going insane, so I looked it up, and as it turns out-yeah it is.. Why add a mechanic like that in the first place then? I can't begin to describe how good everything in this game is. From story plot, to graphic, to gameplay mechanics, to cuteness, to soundtrack, everything is simply perfect. This game is also very newbie friendly, anyone who is new or never play RPG should consider purchasing this game. You will not regret. Personally, i buy for the cute witch and the game delivers. She and her friends are cute and innocence to boots.

Good game if you like jrpgs in general. Interesting take on character progression. Starts like a mobile rpg/colectothon but then opens like a full adventure with interesting mechanics. Overall vibe feels like theese Japanese only games from ps1-3 era. Can recommend for sure.

Honestly cannot see the appeal. Perhaps it gets better later but it's just been a bunch of repetitive "group spell on group or solo spell on single target followed by melee hit" the entire time, and there's really nothing to engage in. I cannot find anything that convinces me it gets fun later on, and nothing the game has introduced suggests that it might.
