About Still Joking
Still Joking is:
We have:
Reflections always do the exact same thing we do. They are forced to repeat all the morning routines, all the self-affirmations and funny faces, and sometimes even the death of their prototype.
So what happens after? How do they deal with it?
Play as Iris, a reflection of the famous actress murdered in front of the mirror. Torn away from usual life, you’re at a turning point where decisions must be made, and they will shape you.
Embrace the sudden journey through the void accompanied by your inner voice and many other distinct characters.
Do it on purpose, do it unintentionally, or just don’t at all.
Be loved, be lonely and yet never alone. Joke, and then joke some more.

Break up arguments; expose the wrongdoers; offer support to those who truly need it. - Create problems.
Become the reason for an argument, injury, or even… death.

Underrated gem honestly. Art-style is gorgeous. Very well-written characters and a great story. Your choices do actually matter.. a lot.. and the story branches off based on even the seemingly insignificant ones you made. My only complaint(ish) was the info dumps that got a bit confusing sometimes. Now, send me off to the mirrored world, please and thank you.9 found this helpful
This game gave me a lot of cozy evenings before I got to my first ending. And I am sure I will replay it again (for the brilliant achievements and plot twists). You definitely should play it for its original story, funny yet kinda psychologic dialogues and sarcastic heroine. I don't know how, but this game made me empathize with every character.6 found this helpful
I recommend this game if you're the type who likes playing slice-of-life-esque games, following the day-to-day life of a protagonist and chatting up other characters. This game's vibes are a bit similar to point-and-click games. I recommend this game if you want a story with a little romance on the side (there are 3 possible love interests, all with a "true" good ending and a couple mid endings). I don't recommend this game if you want a murder mystery. The mystery is more of a side plot, with the main plot being the protagonist becoming comfortable in her own skin and finding what exactly is her true self. And also the story tells you the answers to the murder plot, so it's not really a mystery that you have to piece together. Personally, I walked into this game expecting the murder mystery part, but since I'm also an avid consumer of character-centered works and romance I didn't mind what I got at all. I just wanted to place the disclaimer that the murder mystery aspects are not very pronounced so that anybody looking for that knows that this isn't the right game for them. Anyway, a little more on why I liked it: - I liked the protagonist - I liked the massive amoun…4 found this helpful
Interesting setting, good story and beautiful art. I was kinda sad that I finished the game :(2 found this helpful
The story is great Wide cast of characters that exist and live separate from the main character The ending is unsatisfying and empty? for such a great story I will put a big thumb of the recommendation for the ride But the ending completely smothered all experience from the story. In addition the story is basically toothless, evading all triggering story parts. And overall this cowardice, that's just disappointing. The most intriguing and disappointing story2 found this helpful
This is probably one of the worst games I have played, which is especially sad because it is so beautiful. The writing is terrible - both in its direction and the writing quality, the plot is half-cooked, and the ending is quite abrupt. I bought it on sale, so I didn't ask for a refund, but I wouldn't pay the full price, nor even get it on a very good sale.1 found this helpful
