About Stolen Steel VR
Stolen Steel is a room-scale VR arena swordfighting game. Steal a sword and fight a series of increasingly tough AI opponents in pursuit of the highest score. Get extra points for stealth kills, and compete with your friends to see who is the superior swordsperson.
Currently features two VR swordfighting arenas.
Stolen Steel is a VR spin-off of an untitled non-VR stealth project from Impromptu Games. If it does well, we've got a lot cool ideas for where to go with it.

game doesnt work!!!23 found this helpful
Dev spergs out at fans who are rightfully upset that the product they paid for is defective. Steam API for achievements is largely the same as it was a decade ago, so clearly this has been an issue since launch and not some issue related to their hardware. When you sell a product there is an expectation that it works. Blocked and reported to the IRS for fraud.22 found this helpful

I am 32 years old. My ex-wife and I have a daughter together, and we adopted our son together. Both are now 4 years old. When we were going through our separation, I felt lost and unhappy. I was self-destructive. One day, I was so angry with everything spiraling out of control that I punched a concrete wall in a moment of overwhelming emotion. This resulted in breaking my fifth metacarpal in my right hand—the hand I worked with, played games with, and used to carry my children to bed—the hand I desperately needed to ensure I could continue providing. Upon learning the severity of the self-inflicted damage, I became almost suicidal. Keep in mind that just a few months before this, I was the happiest man, with no history of depression or anxiety. I had never experienced anger outbursts, nor was I the type to break down and cry, but I was in a tough situation that truly prevented me from seeing the light on the other side. With nothing better to do, I looked for a game I could play WITH ONE HAND while recovering. Somehow, I stumbled upon this game and read some of the comments. I decided it was worth a try... I must admit I didn't beat the game, nor did I play as much as some of y…1 found this helpful
Stolen Steel VR, developed and published by Impromptu Games, is an experimental first-person virtual reality title that aims to deliver a compact but intense sword-fighting and stealth experience. Built for room-scale VR, it casts the player into small arena-like environments where the goal is simple but satisfying—grab a weapon, eliminate enemies, and rack up points through swift, calculated melee combat. At its best, it captures that visceral thrill of holding steel in your virtual hands, pairing responsive motion controls with the immediacy of VR immersion. While its scope is undeniably modest, it succeeds as a fascinating showcase of how physical combat, stealth, and scoring systems can blend in an interactive virtual space. The visual presentation is more polished than one might expect from such a small-scale release. The game unfolds in dimly lit environments—a mix of medieval corridors and torchlit halls—where flickering lights cast sharp shadows and the glow of steel against stone adds atmosphere. There’s a strong sense of physical presence when crouching behind pillars or peering around corners to line up a stealth kill. The weapon models are simple yet convincing, with e…
