About Stray Path
Stray Path is a roguelike card game brimming with endless possibilities. Each run, select from a variety of adventurers and take on the challenges of a randomly generated stray world. Optimize every choice: whether to keep or discard skill cards and item cards is entirely up to you. Drag cards like you would in FreeCell, and even store two cards in your inventory. Come along on a thrilling journey of card-flipping that will keep you engaged until you reach the end of this stray world!
In this enthralling adventure, you'll face various kinds of enemies. Will you bravely engage in combat or wisely avoid fights? Collect equipment and items from chests, or discard them? Your decisions shape your fate - to win or to perish, it's all in your hands.
Exploring this unknown world means never knowing what the next card will reveal. It could be an elite enemy, a life-saving item, or a prize chest filled with fancy equipment. Every flip brings a new challenge or opportunity!
Build your loadout from over 100 pieces of equipment and items across different characters. Experience a wide range of playstyles in this endless adventure: become an impenetrable wall with ultra-high defense, or a one-hit wonder glass cannon with devastating attacks. Conquer increasingly powerful enemies on your path to victory!
No two adventures are alike. Face randomly generated enemies, events, and prizes. Different paths lead to different challenges and surprises. Make your choices wisely and discover what lies at the end of the Stray Path!

Nice game. I honestly didn't know I'd enjoy roguelites this much. I got this game from a key bundle, and I'm really happy I ended up trying it. One thing I really liked is that you can unlock new characters, abilities, and permanent boosts by earning currency through achievements. It gives you something to work towards even after a failed run. I've only really played one other roguelite before this, which was PokéRogue, and I enjoyed that as well. Looking back, I probably should've realized sooner that I like this genre, especially since I also enjoy the Simulated Universe and other roguelite-style modes in Honkai: Star Rail. Is it worth the price? I don't really think €14.79 is worth it. I'd say somewhere around €7.99 to €8.99 feels like a much fairer price. Would I play it again? Maybe in the future, but not in near future. Would I recommend this game? Yes, I would. I'd mainly recommend picking it up during a sale though. If you're already a big roguelite fan, you might think it's worth the full price. Best to decide yourself.1 found this helpful
The balance of this game is rough. It is a good game, and a brilliant concept, but the balancing needs some work as winning is not consistent even with the same setup, even accounting for luck. And the second boss is by far the hardest in the game, which is not a good thing. Get past it, and you are set. But it is really punishing with it's mechanics, with the biggest issue being that you have to take care of too many things at once, from having to take out the guys that continually increase their pierce attack, to having to take care of the guards, to having to take out the boss. It simply is impossible without item cards, and you simply don't have enough item slots to do it consistently. The most reliable way i've found requires the character relic that creates a random mushroom card, and getting one item and praying you can both hold on to it without being forced to use it up earlier and get enough of the doubling mushrooms to one shot the second boss. This is very hard to do, as there are only a handful of ways to increase your stats, and I can rarely manage to increase my stats properly. I usually am only able to get one stat up high, or else have all stats floundering. There …1 found this helpful
Not the card game for me.1 found this helpful

Although lovin card games and casual 'just one round' games, "Stray Path" didn't catch me. Playing the game has an insanely boring touch to it, because it seems that there was put few love into the presentation besides the beautiful main character artworks (cats). More than that, it seems that the only goal of the game is to have a high enough Defense Skill so that you can click as many times as you want on an enemy without losing health. In my opinion thats little entertaining.
