I got really hyped by the trailer and idea, but game is buggy (can soft lock you in the middle of the game) the cards are quite boring (no exciting new ones while you progress) and it feels quite repetetive. On the good side: idea, the combination mechanic for environmental effects.4 found this helpful
Awful game, I have never encountered a bug that looped within a tutorial, because trying to jump into the main game was not an option. I will never encourage to buy an unfinished game, not even worth to be obtained in a bundle, it's like getting trash with a few other things. Don't buy.3 found this helpful
what is this "game" ? it started with the settings broken: video was whack, no audio, all sliders to minimum.. is it a joke ? why is this on steam.. ?1 found this helpful
It's kind of alright but it feels pretty slapdash, like nobody's made an effort to balance anything, just "here's a power that would be cool" and bam it's in there. Some cards are clearly worse than no card at all, some starting powers make most of the game a breeze (especially "hit everything with a fireball every turn", makes everything except hero battles trivial - and many of the heroes have "summon more guys" powers which is a wasted turn when the summoned guys get immediately erased with automatic fireballs). The interface also feels slapdash in the same way, for example when you're doing stuff in the shop menus, hint text from the stuff behind pop up and follow the mouse (luckily tucked behind the shop so it's not a big deal). The rage meter didn't appear at all for my first couple of games, and apparently that's not intentional - and is extra weird because that's one of the few things that's explained in the tutorial (it also seems to be completely unimportant except for the non-dragon guy, the rage activation is rubbish). And then it seems to have some sort of a Hades-style "turn up the difficulty with some knobs" thing (again poorly explained) - but there's no progr…1 found this helpful
I like the concept, they almost get close to a good execution. The premise is good, but the other elemental dragons seem under baked the new boss being added feels like its against the fantasy themes. It feels like if given more time and work it could be really good.1 found this helpful
This has been a wonderful game! Being the evil dragon, all of the different types, cards, artifacts! INCREDIBLE... Until the new patch/version, in which the tooltips are all over the place, they don't keep up with the cards played or worse are not there at all. I'm pretty sure that the maximum cards in the hand is 8, but I can't be sure because is written nowhere! The mode in which you can control a big evil machine and use technology to conquest everything is a great idea, but a bad design: nothing scales with it! Rage is equal energy, but you use energy multiple times per turn and you can't have effects like "gain 5 rage" on 1000 energy. The artifacts too don't make any sense in this mode, and you can skip 4 out of 5 big bosses on the map (the only 1 that makes sense is the Dragonslayer, cause you get more health). But the worst thing happened in the starting menu... 5 runs, everything conquered, all to buy EVERYTHING for my lair! Every bosses head, every treasure, every minion! All gone and I don't know how to take that back! So, I'm really sorry, because this IS a great and fun game, but it's treated like s**t... If something changes, I'll be sure to change this and my vote
