This is an awesome game, one of my favorites on NEO GEO. However, this port is terrible: there are no graphics settings or dip-switches. You are forced to play in a 4:3 aspect ratio with a blurry screen and no scanlines. You can't adjust the difficulty level. All these options are available on the original MAME emulator, but this conversion is essentially just a modified version of MAME with the game ROM and NEO GEO bios.7 found this helpful
Pros - Seems like a great game - The CPU seems to play great defense - The music is fun Cons - Game is borderline unplayable. Remapping the shoot button only works on RT on my gamepad and does not work at all on keybaord - Steal and pass are 1 button. Shoot and block are 1 button. This would be less of an issue if remapping the keys worked. - Menu controls are confusing Overall: Seems like a great game but the controls are a big issue.1 found this helpful

fantastic old school street basketball game. i read somewhere that it's soon gonna be discontinued here on Steam, at least temporarily. the devs plans to relist it later apparently. idk what's going on tbh. but it's a really cool old game
Yes, I would like to recommend Street Hoop for everybody.
I never was a big fan, but it's way better adrenaline rush than NBA. Two buttons and beat the rivals if you dare! Shame they delist these old legends, they deserve their place in STEAM.
