Primarily online game - No online. Not even peer to peer. There’s a campaign but it’s just a string of quickplay games with generic fantasy text spliced in. Gameplay is uneventful and in dire need of some sort of ricochet mechanic. Waste of perfectly good spritework.

Strikers Edge is a fast, tightly focused competitive action game that distills the thrill of dodgeball into a medieval-flavored arena brawler built around precision, mind games, and split-second reactions. Developed by Fun Punch Games and published by Dear Villagers, it embraces a minimalist philosophy where every mechanic serves the central loop of throwing, dodging, blocking, and outsmarting opponents. Rather than overwhelming players with systems or progression, it aims to create immediate, readable confrontations that feel intense from the very first match. At its core, the game revolves around small, enclosed top-down arenas where combatants face off using thrown weapons such as spears, arrows, or magical projectiles. There are no health bars or drawn-out exchanges—one clean hit is often all it takes to end a round. This creates a constant sense of tension, as every throw matters and every dodge can be the difference between victory and defeat. Movement is quick and responsive, encouraging players to stay in motion, bait reactions, and anticipate enemy behavior rather than relying on brute force or button-mashing. Character variety adds nuance without complicating the fundam…

looks way funnier than it is. there is really not much mechanicwise to master so it feels like you know how the game will feel like for the next 10h after 10min of playing
Just saying, but I do have a curator page. If you like my remarks about games, you can find more of them here: https://store.steampowered.com/curator/44130985-TDP%27s-Gaming-Escapades
Honestly, this game is absolutely not worth it. Even on sale. I don't even know why the publisher is continuing to sell a game that some of its advertised features are not accessible anymore. The servers for the game have been shut down for a long time, and since the devs never implemented any other solution for online play such as P2P connections, the online mode is completely inaccessible. The game just constantly tries to connect to servers, fails, does a countdown to retry, then repeats from the beginning. Now since nearly all of the achievements are bound to the online mode as well, this means doing a 100% completion of the game is now impossible. And even if one tries to play it locally or through Steam Remote Play, the game we have here is not something I would ever recommend to anyone who desires a party game to enjoy with their friends, as it's incredibly uneventful and slow, thus getting stale and boring pretty fast. Not to mention the slippery movements which can annoy ma…

As much as it looks fun and the graphics are cool, it is waaaaay too hard to aim at people in this game. And I agree with a previous comment, ice physics are not only applied to the player movement but the aiming as well, makes it touuuugh, and then yeah with this much difficulty in moving, it takes way too long to kill the opponent. I tried to play campaign on normal, and granted, I kinda suck at videogames, but I couldn't even get past the first guy. The game says it's like Towerfall but dodgeball, but I actually like Towerfall the more I play it, and the more I play this game the more frustrating it is.
