About Submeris

🌊 Submeris

A deep-sea mining adventure filled with exploration, danger, and survival beneath a mysterious island!

Dig. Upgrade. Descend. And uncover the treasure buried deep below.

---

🎮 About the Game

Submeris invites you into an immersive underwater experience combining exploration, mining mechanics, and survival gameplay beneath a remote and mysterious island.

Start with just a simple shovel. Level up, upgrade your gear, and dive deeper into the unknown. But beware — limited oxygen, rising radiation, collapsing tunnels, and deadly sharks all stand between you and the ultimate treasure.

The deeper you go, the greater the reward — and the risk.

---

⚒️ Dig – Upgrade – Descend

  • Upgrade your shovel and pickaxe – dig faster and break stronger materials
  • Use dynamite and tools – break through obstacles and discover new paths
  • Use the detector – locate buried treasures and hidden cash beneath the ocean floor
  • Enhance your light source – illuminate dark tunnels below
  • Expand your inventory – carry more loot, earn more profit
  • Boost oxygen and radiation resistance – dive longer and go deeper
---

💰 High Risk, Greater Reward

In the depths, precious minerals, hidden chests, and legendary treasures await. But only the most prepared divers can survive the hazards below.
  • Radiation zones with time pressure
  • Unstable tunnels at risk of collapse

Every layer hides danger, but also opportunity.

Painfully derivative — essentially a watered-down clone of the game about digging a hole, but set underwater. Even the ending is a near copy, substituting sub aquatic mole stand-ins for any semblance of originality.

What the hell did I just buy? There is nothing to do. Player clips through everything except the beach. Game development has stopped. In game tools never work. Shovel doesn't dig. Pickaxe is useless. Invisible walls prevent exploration of very small play area. Seems like an abandoned high school project being sold on Steam.

This game is boring and feels like a cash grab off the success of A Game About Digging a Hole, right down to the ending being a complete rip off. There is nothing fun to discover while digging, just the same 4 things to find: Ore, money, lights, and dynamite. I used exactly one light the entire game and dynamite is only useful to break through the rock floor to get to keep going down. I did not purchase anything other then the upgrades from the store, never had to heal myself once and found plenty of the other items while digging. I only died because I let myself drown as to not have to swim back to the surface. Got excited when I found little side tunnel, but it was just more of the same items to be found in the main area, but this time I had to hold down "E" to pick them up! There are no creatures other then the two at the end, no cool hidden decor, or ships or funny shaped rocks or anything that makes this game fun to "explore". Just one whale skeleton sticking half way out of one way at the very beginning of the game. Also, you just die at the end. After digging and collecting and upgrading, you're reward is the sweet release of death.

If you liked A Game About Digging A Hole you'll like this. It's pretty much the same thing but instead of your shovel having a battery that makes no sense, you have oxygen, and it's a bigger map with more upgrades. Would highly recommend for any fan of A Game About Digging A Hole.

if you want to mindlessly dig for a while (which I did, no judgement here) then this game is fine, but its basically a 1 for 1 copy of "a game about digging a hole". they even copied the ending, there's no story or any real reason to complete the game.
