This is a sincerely made, but completely garbage quality amateur puzzle/action platformer, one of literally over 17,000 platformers on Steam, and yet somehow this manages to be one of the worst ones. This is a "climb up the level" platformer that relies on a die and retry gimmick (badly done). The idea is that you control a tomato, and you can slide around on platforms if and only if there's tomato sauce on the platform. Whatever. In the absence of that slidey sauce, you have to rely just on compressing and jumping to the left or right. This won't get you through the platformer levels, however, so you need more sauce. Thankfully, you create sauce when you die, so subsequent attempts have more sauce available to you. That's a lot of effort to explain something that works out to be a crap and unengaging mechanic, and when tied with some of the lowest quality technical delivery to ever insult gamers. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. The visuals in this game are a complete joke, it's seriously just a bunch of MS-Paint sprites/images that look like they were lazily scrawled out over the space…

This is a highly addictive game. However, it causes me an insane amount of frustration. I get that the idea of the game is to fail so you can gain an advantage, I get it. But as an ADHD person, I get insanely frustrated by it. Of course, I admit it's more of a skill issue. Still, ADHDers beware! Paradoxically, the sound the tomato makes when it falls and becomes sauce is incredibly satisfying so I'm going to keep playing it. I'm still struggling in level 1.
