"Super No Crying in Baseball" is a poorly made "joke" game that revolves around two simultaneous game modes. The story revolves around you playing a baseball game with emotional issues stemming from your dad's presence, with the objective to maintain composure while playing. You use a swing mechanic to hit baseballs, aiming for a marker on screen, and a meter that tracks your emotions; you hold down the spacebar to raise the emotion bar and release it to lower it. So yeah, a very shallow experience with no real value as a serious game for gamers, more of a demo piece for no real reason. This features really godawful pixelcrap "art" instead of real graphics. It's hard to say if this was because the developer didn't have the skill to do the job of creating 3D visuals, or couldn't afford to hire someone who does, but it also doesn't matter. What matters is that this looks much worse than most other games because of that decision, and that's a major deterrent to gamers. Games like Terraria and Stardew Valley succeeded [i]despite[/i] the bad graphics, not because of them. It's a very shallow game based off that "joke" premise, so the game gets tired and repetitive almost immedia…

Seems like a cool idea but what the hell even hitting the ball normally is impossible.

Боевая система построена на бросках и ударах, но каждый персонаж обладает уникальными способностями и улучшениями. Можно прокачивать навыки, собирать экипировку и даже нанимать новых игроков в команду. Юмор в игре специфический, но если вам близки абсурд и самоирония, то вы будете хохотать в голос. Несмотря на пиксельную графику, анимация выполнена на высоком уровне, а музыка отлично дополняет атмосферу. Единственный минус – это некоторая сложность в освоении механик в начале, но достаточно пары часов, чтобы втянуться и начать получать удовольствие от этого безумного бейсбольного приключения. Рекомендую всем, кто ищет что-то нестандартное и веселое.
