SUPER SHAPESHOOTER is a fast-paced, top-down, stylized survival action game. Take on relentless waves of enemy shapes as you fight for your survival. Save up your credits, make risky choices, and construct the perfect build to make your way through to the end.
Gameplay
- Run-Length - A full run takes around 20 minutes.
- Unlocks - New items have to be unlocked by completing unique challenges.
- Dual-Wield - Wield two weapons at once, combining different firing patterns and weapon types.
- Shop - Spend your hard earned credits between waves to buy new weapons, trinkets and abilities.
- Wager - You decide how difficult a wave will be.
- Abilities - Use powerful abilities ranging from screen-clearing explosions to companion turrets.
- Trinkets - Buy and equip unique trinkets which provide stat boosts, special abilities or game-changing modifiers.
- Consumables - Buy one time consumable items which modify the rules of the game without taking up any inventory space!

This game doesn’t try to do much, but it does what it sets out to do perfectly. A solid 8/8 game. (I would love some way to replay the tutorial or a "controls" screen) edit after a few more hours: - I would really like the option to change the cursors color/shape, it's easy to lose sight of it since it's the same color as the player's bullets - I think that the unlock notification isn't enough, either it should last even after the won/lost screen or it should take up the whole screen and the player should click trough them3 found this helpful

This game is a little gem! It’s super addictive as it has so many different strategies and upgrades you can get, which really add to replay value as you try to figure out how to survive that bit longer than last time. Having options to make each round more difficult is a good risk/reward situation and another thing to account for. The enemy variety is strong and the boss fights were unexpected. Each game you start off anew but there are also lifetime upgrades that you can get the longer you play. I’d really recommend this game, between its gameplay and music it’s a game that’s really chill. I’ve only really scratched the surface and I’m excited to get better. Also I play on Steam Deck and have no issues from start to finish.1 found this helpful
