SuperTotalCarnage!, developed and published by IndieGala, is a chaotic action roguelite that embraces excess in nearly every aspect of its design. Combining the increasingly popular survivor-style gameplay formula with a dark fantasy setting, destructive weaponry, and endless waves of monsters, the game focuses on delivering pure action with minimal distractions. It is a title built around the simple but addictive concept of surviving overwhelming odds while transforming a vulnerable character into an unstoppable force of destruction. While it does not radically redefine the genre, it succeeds in providing a fast-paced and entertaining experience for players who enjoy constant progression and large-scale battles. The game's premise is intentionally straightforward. Players are thrown into hostile environments filled with relentless enemies and are tasked with surviving for as long as possible. Storytelling takes a backseat to gameplay, allowing the action to begin almost immediately. This design choice works well because SuperTotalCarnage! clearly understands its audience.
I refunded it, but only because I can't see myself investing time into it.
Not terrible, but not great either. Vampire Survivors does everything this game attempts to do but far better. Just feels like a clunky knockoff. Feels like you need to invest a LOT of time into this one to start to feel powerful, or that you aren't just terrible at the game. I suggest getting it on sale if you're a die hard fan and feel like a slow progression is something you can be OK with.1 found this helpful
It's a functional [strike]Crimsonland with autofire/autoaim on[/strike] Vampire Survivors knock-off, albeit a little barebones on content. The two tracks included in the game are nice. If you can get the game for free or, like, severely discounted, you'll get at least an hour or two of strafing/weapon combo upgrading joy out of it.
Unfinished and abandoned. Achievements can not be unlocked. +1 log added to the Early Access hate bonfire.
A vampire survivor's clone that does nothing new. This game is buggy abandonware, DO NOT BUY.
