fantastic match-3 game with incredible music!
Switch Out aims to scratch that 90s arcade era itch by using up-beat voiceovers, punchy yet chilled BG music and an easy to read interface. It isn't trying to be anything new and amazing and for that I feel the dev has really done well. It's easy to jump in and out of if you have a spare few minutes to play and there's enough variation in the different game modes to keep things interesting. Is it a match # game for everyone? No. However, it will really appeal to the nostalgia of some and hopefully provide easy entry to newer players who are new to the genre. Disclosure: I did do some playtesting for the dev on this one (ignore my hours played). This style of game isn't something I play a lot of these days but it feels fluid and balanced with no real bugs to speak of. I'd genuinely recommend it to those who like the genre as I enjoyed my time with it and will likely randomly play it on occasion in future.
