[b]core-blast[/b] is an excellent cluster/pop match-3, whatever the variant is called where you click connected tiles ('cores' here) of the same color and they all disappear. it's technically match-2, as that many cores already count. [b]500(!) levels (and another 750 as dlc)[/b] unlocked one by one, [b]different time and/or move limit for each[/b]. there's also a [b]3-emblem rating[/b] based on... something. score, remaining moves, who knows? it's easy to find levels that need more attention by using the neat [b]filter by emblem rating[/b] feature. mandatory limits might be a turn-off for some, me included, but not necessarily a dealbreaker. still, more options are always better, so a [b]free mode[/b] toggle got patched in quickly. [b]only gives 1 emblem but unlocks the next level even after a fail[/b] that's possible in this mode with a few late-game mechanics. emblems aren't used for anything anyway and…

Pop groups of identical gems in this casual and relaxing puzzle game. The gameplay is straightforward; simply click on gems that are part of a group of two or more gems. The more jewels in a group, the more points you gain. If a group has five or more gems, you will receive a special item that can remove an entire row, line, or all gems of the same type. One very helpful feature is that the game notifies you when this occurs, so you don't have to count gems. Except for the challenge mode, which lets you choose an objective and change several settings, the main mode is stages. There are 500 levels, each with a different goal. It starts with simple things like destroying gems with a restricted number of moves or in a certain amount of time, but gradually includes boxes to break and many other elements. You earn the game’s currency by filling up the bar. This happens with each broken gem, regardless of the mode. However, the store system isn’t useful because everything is expensive. All you can buy are special powers but are gone once you use them. The best way of earning currency is to perform three daily tasks or come back each hour to open a chest.
