When the sandals are on and the swords are calling are you there to answer? A true taunt gladiator never waits nor does he fear. He laughs at the face of death and taunts. For the taunt gladiator death is but a joke. Something to laugh at. The only thing that can truly kill a taunt gladiator is his loss of hope. His fire to fight, to taunt. To lose ones hope is to lose ones taunt. For taunt gladiator that is death. The smile washing away. The eyes losing their sparkle. So i ask you brothers. When the sandals are on and the swords are calling are you there to answer? I for one will always be here. Taunting. ████████╗░█████╗░██╗░░░██╗███╗░░██╗████████╗ ╚══██╔══╝██╔══██╗██║░░░██║████╗░██║╚══██╔══╝ ░░░██║░░░███████║██║░░░██║██╔██╗██║░░░██║░░░ ░░░██║░░░██╔══██║██║░░░██║██║╚████║░░░██║░░░ ░░░██║░░░██║░░██║╚██████╔╝██║░╚███║░░░██║░░░ ░░░╚═╝░░░╚═╝░░╚═╝░╚═════╝░╚═╝░░╚══╝░░░╚═╝░░░

Mostly played ss2 and it can be quite buggy which I assume some of these were moslty not the case the original flash game. Bugs: There is a bug where enchanting one of your weapons will automatically grant you that enchantment on another. That is just about the only "good" bug. The rest like not being able to attack while on the edge of the map, having your bow stuck as your primary weapon but still functioning as your melee weapon for the entire rest of the game, etc. can be incredibly annoying especially during a tournament. Mechanics: These are things that are probably mostly present in the flash game, though I never made it past the 2nd tournament back then without the "comma cheat" so idk. Critical hits from opponents in duels were just about the only way I lost, though attack and defense stats are a core part of the game. Also sometimes I suspect the RNG isn't very random and instead responds to a certain sequence of attacks. Because some of the continuous blocks I'd get from my high odds really felt absurd. Port of an old game so all and all not super surprising, enjoyed the nostalgia, worth the $10 or less.
