So, I've played for 140 hours now, and I've worked out what works for me. I have 2 sewing machines, 2 cutting desks and 1 button desk. I have 3 Tailors and 1 cashier, also me. I play an important part. The tailors are set with everything "on" in their settings, the cashier has everything "on", except negotiations. The tailors do the obvious stuff, you can set them to buy stock themselves. That way you're not messing about with deliveries during the day. The cashier will receive orders from the tailors, retrieve garments from storage and collect payments from customers. I do the negotiating and collect the odd payment when the cashier is off doing whatever it is she does. Negotiating is important because it's where a lot of your money will come from. You can negotiate better than a cashier. Sad people are a little finicky, and you can end up losing a sale quite easily with them, so keep the price low, but still high enough to make a profit. For sad people, with the negotiating bar, I keep it in the green. Worried, neutral and angry people, I try to keep the negotiating bar to about half way. You can go higher, I just try not to waste time with renegotiations. Happy and …

I have been playing this for over a week now, and I love this game. It is very easy to lose myself in the process of making the clothes and not realise it's been a hour and the in-game clock has been set to 2400 for half of it. The low-fi jazz soundtrack is very calming and relaxing. The progression is nice and smooth, and doesn't feel like too much of a grind, at least until I got to level 13 and was desperately trying to unlock the last gown. The controls for staff are a little intricate, but I figured out a good system for my playstyle within a couple of in-game days. That said, the game is still a little buggy. My most frequent one was people looking for somewhere to change into the outfits they've recieved. I don't like having a dressing screen in the store, so frequently I find people hiding in a corner waiting to get changed, and they don't go away until after I exit the game. But this also happens when I do have a dressing screen. Some of them use it, the rest of them don't. And they just stay there. The other bug I frequently encounter is the OE Broker not having any stock for sale. Again, this is fixed by exiting the game. The one bug I can't fix is that the printe…

Pace of progression is terrible. It takes over an hour to buy your first fabric and starting to need new spools of thread. The phone thing is tedious. It takes longer to dial the customer to pickup their order than to make the outfit.. why is that a thing? Hour of the game, barely lvl 2.. how are you testing my patience of your game already. A lot of stuff is going to be locked behind lvls. Other shop keeping games are way more enjoyable and feel so cozy in comparison. Don't recommend this early access game. Never seen a longer lvl 1 grind in my life.
