Take the Dream IX

Hello there... I am listening :)

This game is probably one of those that you played yourself / watched a video on when you were younger, and many years later you get both extremely nostalgic just by remembering it, but at the same time all you can think of is: "did that game really exist, or did I make it up?" The best way I could describe Take The Dream IX would be that this is the perfect representation of what a made-up game inside your dreams looks like. Not in terms of aesthetics or simply being very weird both visually and gameplay wise, but more or less by the fact that when you look at it from a far everything looks right, but the more you think about it and keep playing, everything seems to make less sense than before. Kinda how when you wake up from a nightmare scared, but then after a few seconds you really that the nightmare itself was beyond ridiculous, or when you wake up from a dream with "the best idea ever" and then realize that it's actually ♥♥♥♥ (Although this game is amazing ngl). Just for reference, most of the game is a story-focused game with minimal gameplay (besides a few puzzles), but at one point it turns into a turn based combat RPG where you fight a literal train trying to kill you …

It's interesting, there's still an unsolved thing related to 230, maybe the game needs to have 230 reviews? Anyways, there's a lot of stuff to discover, and even a damn sheep that's supposed to help me solve something in another game from this dev, hopefully someone figures that out eventually. This dev generally makes interesting mystery horror games with cryptic puzzles, and i like the ones i played so far, but his schedule is... well, there is no schedule, and i guess that's the one downside, you often wait wait wait until something releases, but at least it's fun to finally play through the new thing whenever there's a new thing. The dev also misses deadlines sometimes. He must be doing a lot of... [spoiler] PROCRASTINATING IN THE SUN [/spoiler] Seriously though, play it, it's fun, and please review it so we can make it to 230 reviews and see if that's what the puzzle is.

I played this game years ago, idk why but something about it I really liked, I sometimes to this day like to listen to one of the OST's lol

Визуальный стиль, хоть и выполнен в пиксельной графике, поражает своей детализацией и красочными локациями. Музыкальное сопровождение прекрасно дополняет атмосферу игры, создавая нужное настроение в каждой сцене. Однако, боевая система кажется несколько устаревшей и однообразной. Сражения становятся рутинными, и даже с разнообразием оружия и способностей героям не хватает глубины. Кроме того, в игре присутствуют неприятные баги и ошибки, которые иногда приводят к зависаниям и потере прогресса. Несмотря на эти недостатки, "Take the Dream IX" обладает определённым шармом и способна увлечь поклонников классических RPG. Если вы готовы закрыть глаза на устаревшую боевую систему и технические проблемы, то игра может подарить вам несколько часов увлекательного приключения. Но стоит учитывать, что это скорее ностальгическое путешествие в прошлое, чем современный хит.
