About Tales of Mathasia

The game is set in a world called Mathasia. It’s a beautiful and colorful land where anthropomorphic animals live peacefully. There are 4 regions in Mathasia - The Uncountable Mountains, Great Number Plains, The Dividing Forest and Multiplication Islands.

All the animals leave happily under the rule of the Wise Royal Owl Family. The King and Queen care and provide for everyone so the animals can spend as much time as they want to do their favorite thing - Recreational Maths!

But the dark clouds are forming beyond The Uncountable Mountains! The Dark Sorcerer Sparrow that was cast out eons ago by the King and the Queen from the lands of Mathasia is enacting his revenge! He cast a powerful spell that will envelop the Kingdom in Everlasting Darkness!

The lands of Mathasia are beginning to be covered in Corruption. The inhabitant's only hope is an old legend about the Hero that will master the arts of Math and use its power to defeat the Sorcerer. Only this mysterious Hero can fight the Corruption and stop incoming Darkness!

Nice colorful game which doesn't teach you really that much If you're an adult but will teach you a lot when you're a little kid with funny story that takes around 1 hour.5 found this helpful
Cute and a compelling story for little kids. My kids have only gotten through the first few levels, so I'm not sure how far the game goes, but it seems like its really meant as practice for someone who's probably pretty solid on first grade math already. The first couple levels start out with just counting, so I thought it would increase slowly and help teach my preschooler/kindergartener, but the difficulty ramps up very quickly and by level 5 or so they need to be able to do addition for multiple problems within less than 30 seconds. The younger ones just couldn't do it quickly enough to beat the levels. The map shows something like 30 levels, but I don't know if a new map will show up after that for the game to continue. Anyway, my oldest likes it okay, but she's already 8 and is probably a bit too old for it already and the younger ones just aren't quite ready yet. Hopefully they'll get some more use out of it once they've gotten through at least kindergarten math and can keep up. So, great for review and practice to hammer in the facts through a fun medium, but not a teaching program!1 found this helpful
Brutal realm, Horror and blight. Brave heroes gather to fight terror and powerful demonology. It is a good occasion to spend some time together with your little ones and solve very nice puzzles.1 found this helpful
