About Talk to Yuno

Yuno has been interested in the occult since a young age.
However, most of her attempts so far failed to produce any results.
Spells had little effect, predictions were hit and miss....

Armed with a new crystal ball and a book about summoning, Yuno decided to double her efforts.
"This time, it will work!"
"I will finally establish a connection with a different dimension."

After patiently waiting for the planets to align, drawing an elaborate magic circle and chanting the right incantation...
She finally managed to summon...... YOU!

~New Features~

In addition to the usual keyword and greeting systems found in the Talk to... line:
  • Help Yuno Solve Cases: The reason why Yuno summoned you in the first place is because she wants to ask for advice.
  • Keyword Preview: Keyword suggestions appear as you type! This makes it easier to find topics to talk about.
  • Unexpected Visitors: Aya and Saki might show some interest in the supernatural.

~Play a little bit every day~

Some cases develop over time. You and Yuno might both think that you solved someone's problem... but then things take an unexpected turn.

You get summoned by Yuno. She needs your help! Talk to her and help her solve some cases. A (literally) tiny Visual Novel about a girl who is passionate about occult. She needs to help her friends; in order to do so, Yuno decided to summon you. You can input keywords to know more about occult and ask her how she's doing. After inputing suggested keywords you can ask to solve cases. Have fun

The Good: I learned some fun facts about the occult. Interesting concept. The game requires you to close it a few times/talk to Yuno for the plot to develop, which is kinda neat (but gets annoying after the 4th time). For a full length game, I could see a forced break as a way to add emphasis to major plot points or ideas by letting them marinate in the player's mind. The Bad: 'Chat' as a feature is a bit of an overstatement, and the game is (sadly) not funny. The dialogue manages to beat into the ground the fact that Yuno likes the occult, but I finished the game not really able to describe her or with any attachment to her. We actually physically meet another character, but... never see them again? What was that about? In the weeds: I like to buy games with interactive gimmicks, but this game is a bit more on rails than most visual novels that don't advertise on that aspect. I'm not going to expect even hobbiest-grade AI at the price point of $2, but, unless I'm missing something, 'keyword entry' is even a stretch (it's really just a canned list of 60 exact match strings). I totally get that typing allows the interface to filter down the 'conversation' options (versus the pla…

A fun game where you take on the roll of a spirit and converse with a young fortune teller who has summoned you through her crystal ball, lots of clever and funny dialogue and well worth an hour or two of your time.

This game was honestly not that interesting. Can't recommend it unless you're interested in an easy 100%.
