Tatari, developed by Hidden Tower Studios and published by TheGamesFortress, is a first-person investigative horror experience that attempts to blend detective storytelling with elements of Japanese supernatural folklore. To long for searching items..... Story lame.... Jumpscare 2/10....

After playing the demo, I couldn't wait to play the full version of this game! I am a big fan of puzzle games and I also don't back down from spooky stuff, so this was a perfect combination for me! I ran into a few challenges/puzzles where I felt like I was stuck, so I went back through some places a couple of times, but I still made it to the end with only 2 achievements unfinished. I don't wanna spoil too much, because I think it's best to play this just on your own. I think the developers did a great job in making a fun and interesting game with a couple good jump scares (some literally made my skin crawl!) with the funds and resources they had available to them! I would love to see a 'chapter 2' or something like that some day!

Ok the puzzles are ok but every single time you have to figure something out it has to many pauses in between things that throw you out of the loop and feels like artificial pauses to the story. Some puzzles cant be started until you figure out what you are supposed to do to initiate the process having you walk around multiple times. Story is fine and puzzles are passible. If you can stomach that then check it out. Some might do better since puzzles are based of user and how fast you can find what to do versus using much brain power.

I broke the game by pressing tab to get into my inventory, which resulted in the game having to be forced closed 10/10 campers wouldn't stop watching me do so

This game was better than what I expected it to be. The puzzles is great, not too easy and not too hard, and that I really liked because usually games treats you like you don't even know to match a square with a square hole or overwhelm you. Not many games overall these days can't even optimize their games but this was really smooth. Price tag I would call decent for what you get. If they would make more games like this one I would be on that as well!
