its kinda ass so i dont get why i like it

This game is a decent deckbuilder roguelike. It uses a 3 person party system, where they all share the same deck, but only the person in front can be attacked. Changing the order of allies in battle heals one ally, but only a small amount, so there's a huge focus on health management. There are 5 different deck types, each of which offers a couple of different playstyles, having their own set of 'Gifts' (which are artifacts or similar in other games). There are also general 'Gifts' that can be received in any style. One unique thing is that each character starts with a specific 'Gift', and these starting 'Gifts' are different depending on which deck you're using, so it really allows the different decks to feel very different style-wise. There are two types of meta-progression, one of which is pretty necessary to the story and gameplay. The other is nice to have, but not necessary, which is probably why it's such a grind to upgrade it. However, my biggest complaint with this game is the interface. I have had so much fun with this game and am so sad that it's finally over and I've completed all of the labyrinths. This is a great game for people who are both more casual players and those who want more of a challenge (since you can easily make even the starter dungeon hard as hell by racking up karma). It's just a great, easy, but challenging game to play for people who love deckbuilders. I also think the story is pretty cute. Yeah, it's basic but the characters are lovable, the dialogue can be fun, and it's nice to see a good group of friends succeed in saving their society. It's just a good time overall!
