Teen Zombie In Your Cabin

Story/Plot: As you can easily guess, Teen Zombie in Your Cabin starts in the aftermath of the zombie apocalypse. The game starts with the heroine struggling to go on from the weight of loneliness when she is attacked by zombies. She is almost ready to dispatch the final one when the zombie speaks, asking for help. Intrigued, she takes the zombie woman back to her cabin, finding out the woman is only half-zombie. From there, the protagonist helps the zombie, regaining her humanity and the two grow closer in the process while addressing their needs like food, health, relationship, etc. As far as stories go, it is fairly basic, but I did enjoy the dialogue and the relationship the two women built. The main focus is on the relationship between both women, but it is possible to have a couple different encounters with a man, but they are easily avoidable; you can choose to skip them. Visuals: For anyone who's played adult visual novels, then you will easily recognize the program used to make the pictures/sprites. I really liked the characters, and although the story was simple, it kept my attention throughout.

I liked “Teen Zombie In Your Cabin” quite a lot. While the introduction feels rushed and the English occasionally stumbles, the story is surprisingly sweet and sometimes even creative. Not to mention, the adult scenes land well; they are either romantic or hot depending on the moment. (8/10) Also, for the most part, the game allows you to avoid content you’re not into. Every explicit scene I encountered was fully optional, and you can shape the protagonist’s desires and boundaries, which helps with immersion. Of course, that’s not to say you can influence the other characters’ fantasies, which is fair enough, so sometimes they’ll mention things that might not be to your preference. The game is quite short, too. I finished it in under four hours, though your mileage may vary depending on difficulty and choices. My only real criticism concerns how the romances feel given that you play exclusively as a female protagonist. The women you can pursue read as bisexual, but the writing often frames their attraction to you as secondary to their interest in men. Quite nice. Solid characters. Solid story. Much like Sad Short Stories, the writing here could use a solid editing pass. There are more typos, wrong words and strange sentence structures here than in the previous work. I like the switch to more of a gameplay mechanic, with player choice on how fast to move through the story. That said not being able to craft anything because no matter how often you scavenge, you never get any tape is annoying. I would suggest turning Johnny into an actual trader, where you can explicitly swap one resource for another. An easy recommendation.

I realize that I'm biased on account of being very lonely and extremely gay, but gosh I found this game to be super cute and compelling.
