I really like the art in this game, it is very cute and has a soft storybook style. Every scene feels warm and cozy, like you are looking at a moving picture book instead of playing a normal game. The hand drawn art is detailed and expressive, and it helps show the grandmother’s memories in a gentle and emotional way. The puzzles are mostly hidden object tasks and simple point and click interactions. You move items, find clues, and place things in the right spots based on the story. Everything feels connected to what is happening, so it is easy to follow. The gameplay is very simple and calm. The game focuses more on storytelling than difficulty, so it is not stressful or fast paced. Most puzzles are easy, but sometimes they can feel a bit unclear, which may cause small moments of confusion. There is no voice narration, so the story is told only through pictures and visuals. This makes it feel more open and emotional, since you can understand it in your own way. Overall, it is a very relaxing game where you can take your time, enjoy the cute art, and slowly experience the story.

I thought this was going to be a cute cozy story game. I expected simple but my god is this SIMPLE. There are no real words in their story; just scribbled lines and I think that was an odd choice. It made it very hard to get into. Also, the puzzles themselves are too easy to the point of it being boring. There are definitely games who've done this style a lot better.

An adorably illustrated puzzle game about a grandmother guiding her granddaughter through life's adventures. While some of the puzzles can be a bit finnicky, the game overall is relaxing and heartwarming.

It was very short, and some of the puzzles were illogical and confusing. I can recommend it if you're looking for a one-shot game.

I just finished Tell Me Your Story, and overall this game is honestly really charming. The art style is adorable, the storytelling is warm and heartfelt, and the whole concept feels cozy in that soft, comforting way that makes you want to keep playing. It’s one of those games that doesn’t try too hard, but still manages to leave an impression. I genuinely enjoyed the story and the atmosphere, it’s cute without feeling empty. That said, the gameplay did test my patience a bit. Since it’s a puzzle game built around dragging and placing objects, you’d expect that to feel smooth but there were multiple moments where it just… didn’t register properly. I’d drag an item exactly where it clearly needed to go, only for it to snap back to its original position. And then I’d try again. And again. And somehow on the fifth or tenth attempt, it suddenly works without me doing anything differently. It doesn’t completely ruin the experience, but it does break immersion and gets frustrating, especially when you know you’re doing the right thing. I would rate it a 4 star out of 5. If the controls were more responsive and polished, this would easily be a higher rating. But even with those hiccu…
