Assemble With Care ran so Pieces of the Past could walk. It's cute little game in a genre that I normally enjoy, but it's far too short and simple for the price listed. I completed it in 1.5 hours and I doubt anyone could get more than 2 hours of playtime out of this game. If it were $2-3, I would recommend it as-is. The plot is lacking, there's a decent foundation that could have been expanded upon but was not. Instead, the player is left wanting. We are told that the main character has a troubled relationship with their family, specifically their mother, but given no examples for why that is. Everything we learn is very surface-level and there's just enough plot to leave you frustrated at the lack of further exploration. I think this game has the potential to be worth the $7 price tag, but it needs a major update with more puzzles, better puzzles, and a plot that expands upon the foundation established in this current version.1 found this helpful
There's not much game at all and its all very brainless. It's too short for the price
A very enjoyable, calm, and relaxing game. You have plenty of time, and nothing is chasing you. It’s just a charming game where you piece together little bits of the story.
