Temples of Lily is a well designed tower defense game. It has enough innovation and challenge to make it worth playing for many hours. Although there is only one tower, it can be upgraded to make it function in many different ways. The graphics are just right for the ambiance of the game. The game is very difficult, but holds your attention. All in all, it is an excellent game.3 found this helpful
More to this Tower Defense title than first meets the eye. At first play it seemed a bit simplistic, but how wrong i was. Took me 4 attempts to get the "feel" of the game and get through the first level on easy (there are 6 difficulty levels!!). You only have one basic tower structure, but there are a myriad of upgrade options to cope with the various enemies. On successful completion of a level you are presented with various upgrade credits. All the bells and whistles seem to be there. In-game you have to be very careful shepherding your mana (I wouldn't mind if the mana level indicator was a bit more distinctive) to assist against Bosses. The Developers seems very quick to respond to possible game issues. On inspection, I found that they were responsible for the very good (if not vastly popular) title Knights vs Nature.2 found this helpful
Top notch TD game with all the bells and whistles I love, pathing, deep rich lore, targeting for the towers, a wide range of tower upgrades, interesting monsters and more. Another fun TD games from Poema. I was a big fan of her previous TD effort, Knights v. Nature, so I was eager to see her new foray into the genre, and I am not disappointed. Unlike the previous game, this one has pathing as a key component to the game. The maps are a bit tight, and towers get more expensive as you buy them, so there is a certain economy to the players efforts, but there are still plenty of game decisions to be made by the player. One interesting mechanism is that there is only one kind of tower you can place, but the upgrades you place on them quickly makes them unique. And there are a lot of choices! There are tactical options as well, in the form of spells, though in the early going I find saving my mana to fire blast the bosses is pretty important. I have only played a short while though, and I don't have even close to all the spells that the game seems set up to offer me. There are strategic options as well, upgrades between the levels.
