About Temple Trashers
Temple Trashers is a couch co-op tower defense game, in which the towers you build can hurt you and your friends just as much as they can hurt your enemies. Build towers, aim them towards your foes and collect the crystals that drop in order to build more turrets and survive the endless hordes of enemies!
You can play both: alone or with friends, with keyboard or controller, but we do recommend friends and controllers :)
The only limit to the amount of players able to play at the same time is the amount of controllers and/or friends you have!
The game is developed by a group of volunteer students from the Hackerspace NTNU student organization over the span of 2 years. The game is open-source and 100% free!

A really interresting game with a really great consept. It still has a few points to polish, but still a full game experience without too many bugs. (Its opensource and open to pullrequests.) In all a fun experience.1 found this helpful

"Temple Trashers" is one of literally thousands of student projects infesting Steam. It's from Hackerspace NTNU in Norway. While student projects tend to be better quality than most "amateur" made games, we must still question what value such projects have for gamers. As with all student projects, this isn't really a fully fleshed out game, it's just the result of an academic exercise, and as such it has much more limited value as a game than a professionally developed game would have. Educational institutions should not be using Steam as a dumping ground for homework assignments (especially if the students didn't even pass the course). Sure, it helps their marketing and helps the students feel good about themselves, but this is another case of a business putting themselves before the needs of gamers. The students made a fairly simple co-op TD with friendly fire... it wasn't particularly successful, mostly because it's locked down to console peasant kids toy gamepads rather than KB+M, has poor graphics, lack of polish, and lack of decent customisability. The "friendly fire" gimmick adds something new, but nothing remarkable. In terms of visuals, this features fairly low qua…
