It's a bad copy of Factorio. At 1/3 the price would be fine, but as it stands - crazy overpriced unless you just must play every game of this genre on steam. The review around 99% code written without AI is also a lie by his friend - dev been using ai to code for at least 6 months. If that matters to you, that is - Steam doesn't require disclosing usage of AI for coding.3 found this helpful
The game currently has maybe 5 hours of content, and a huge grindy increase that is very hard to expand into thanks to many of it's combining systems. It relies heavily on the overworld for resource farming, and very limited use of a pretty rudimentary conveyor system for production. The mob spawn system is critical to understand for creating a functioning base, specially as it has "creeper" type mobs, but has no simple way to understand the limitations to protect/prevent mob spawns easily. So you create an almost entirely enclosed base, cover spawns as best you can, but you will almost invariably end up with mobs coming from somewhere, messing up your base and potentially exploding large portions of it. Which makes the game a frustrating grind to get what little land you can afford to expand into, while just hoping you covered it correctly.1 found this helpful
Already great in early access.
Bought this from the steam queue so you get on to 'real steam' best of luck man.
Great game, still needs a little polish here and there but a lot of fun!
Pretty fun so far. Over 20 hours in and I still think there's heaps left to do. That being said, I'm not really optimizing too much and taking my time. Keep in mind it is early access and there will be improvements and more content (hopefully) and I look forward to seeing what else comes. A few things can be improved to make it less frustrating though: - Shift clicking from a barrel should put a stack directly into the bag instead of on the mouse cursor. - More information needs to be given (I unlocked electrum wire which says it is high capacity, but I don't know what that means exactly. There are no numbers showing what a wire is capable of). - You can run diagonally through walls in some situations which has landed me on spikes on many occasions.
