Factory Town

Great little game, although it's not so little. Some people don't like the fact the game is in stages, and each stage has you starting again. I initially hated this, and it took me months to come back to the game (prompted by the announcement of the sequel). Upon my return I twigged the way to play this. Yeah, you have to "start again" each level, but this time you can lay things out more optimally based on what you learned. And the new things you unlock in each level - just slap them down and experiment. That's what the level is for. Don't optimise, just learn, and then optimise on the next level. The last level is the real game, where you bring it all together. Get that running smoothly and satisfaction is incoming. Looking forward to the sequel!

Great cozy automation game. It's not incredibly complex nor unforgiving, it's perfect for a new player starting with the genere or to relax for a couple of hours and taking a break from factorio. It's very lightweight and doesn't use too many pc resource, it runs great on the steamdeck too

I play this as a form of relaxation. Music is calming. Game is not stressful. Nobody attacks me. It's just me and problem solving in the form of automations.

It was the best game at the time, also my 1st automation game. Sometimes my brain just want to explode. But, overall, it is what it is.

I played for 5 mins and thought... hmm this is kinda stupid. Pick up and deliver? How tedious. Then I played for 30 mins and realized Oh! This is Factorio medieval edition! Then I saw the building menu and realized Oh!!! It' Timberborn x Factorio and now I'm looking to the sequel as well. Very addictive in a pleasant way.

The UI and Controls are rather dated and a bit clunky, but once you get a handle for it it's *manageable* The other parts of the game are fun enough to make up for this shortcoming.
