As a longtime fan of the prequel, I'd love to give this game a positive review. Yet in its present state, I simply couldn't do so in good faith for the following reasons. Firstly, the in game has a steep learning curve. Steeper in practice than it should be due to an unintuitive UI, lack of in-game tutorials and online informationals. The current in game tutorial is only a few drop downs. That's enough for simple games-but not this one. There is a wiki, but its an outdated 13 page stub of a wiki. The new-player-help channel in the discord community is a great idea, but is a far cry from the convenience a quick google search or in-game guidance could be providing mid-gaming session. Secondly, the single EU server is hardly ever active. This is noted by many other negative reviews here–and I'll reiterate the general sentiment of that: the game simply isn't all that fun to play alone (the name of the game is territory control after all!). So why aren't people playing then? There appear to be a few interactions between the game's pacing, player moderation and server management that are contributing to the problem. has potential

The spiritual successor of Clonk!!! Game is great, runs perfectly well, it's beautiful, has LOTS of potential... ...but I believe it is mostly enjoyable in multiplayer... which is, not sure... well, it's just one server with 0 people on it. Maybe during release, steam fest or w/e it can get a bigger community. I won't give it a negative review. It doesn't deserve it!

I have about 30 minutes left before I lose the option to refund the game. I’d be happy to keep it if someone could point me to some proper tutorials or guides. The game looks beautiful. It has a strong Starbound-like feel, nice physics, and great building mechanics. However, the community seems quite small, and the few available YT videos are hard to consider proper tutorials. I didn't join servers because I wanted to learn the basics first, but I ended up spending most of my time figuring out how to spawn and simply walking across the map to the destination location. This game would really benefit from more detailed tutorials, as it looks very promising. I’m leaving a positive review because I’d love to see it grow, but my initial experience was quite poor.

a really well built game that takes a bit to get into and understand, if you really want to learn this game fast then just join another players faction and ask around, after that its just 2 hours and most of the game is grasped
