thanks mom is yet another Lu game, and if you've played these before you know exactly what to expect storywise, i think it's fine, i like the way it uses the atmosphere to make you guess what is happening, as it's a very abstract interpretive game (until the end) gameplaywise, I don't think the platforming is *nearly* as bad as everyone else is saying, but it is notably a weak part of the game, and I'm not quite sure what purpose it serves. the only real thing I really didn't like is I didn't quite understand the reason why we flipped off every cube, was it to say no to fate? I'm not completely sure. but overall, as a Lu game, you know what to expect.1 found this helpful
This is one of the few Lu games I honestly didn't care for too much. As usual, the controls are rough, as well as the translation. The art is adorable. It's a short little experience where you play as an infant traveling through a surreal landscape. The ending is kind of cute but the whole ordeal just feels sort of... silly in a way that doesn't mesh with the main story concept well to me. Platforming is rough, but I can forgive that considering how short the game is.1 found this helpful
Lovely game but it just does not allow you to jump when needed sometimes which sucks a bunch since it is the main thing you do besides walk. Because of the jumping I would have to say 6~7/10.
100% Completion Review: This is quite possibly the trippiest Lu game I've played so far. I have no idea what anything in this game is supposed to represent. I have no words for this game.
I got this as part of a bundle a bit ago to support the developer, and they usually make quirky horror games, so I didn't know what to expect here, but It turned out to be a very frantic platformer. Short but fun and interesting, I finished the game in about 25 minutes.
what kind of game.? pretty good indie game nightmare .
