About The Cascadier

Inspired by Balatro, Slay the Spire, and Vampire Survivors, The Cascadier blends coin-pusher chaos with roguelike deckbuilding. Charge coins with elemental abilities, drop them into evolving pinball-style cabinets, and trigger explosive chain reactions.

A twist on deckbuilders — The Cascadier turns your deck into explosive coin powers inside magical arcade machines. Charge your coins with elemental powers and unleash devastating combos with the powers of the gods. Combine them to create synergies and smash the coin shelves apart with Fireballs, Towering Coins, Disco Balls, Windy Blasts, and loads more Physics based abilities! In the pouring rain, a shrouded custodian beckons you inside. Here you’ll meet Fortuna, a mischievous goddess of fortune, and her irritating brother Theodan, god of the time between seconds. Their sibling rivalry spills into every machine and powers that shape your destiny. To win, you must beat every cabinet, master the cascades, and claim the title of The Cascadier!
Each machine is an evolving pinball table packed with hidden ramps, mystery slots, and magical bumpers.  Earn tickets with every run to unlock Trinkets hidden across the machines. Each one grants elemental-infused bonuses you can upgrade permanently through a skill tree, ensuring long-term progression. Stack multiple Trinkets to forge stronger builds and push toward the final machine where Fortuna, the Goddess of Fortune, awaits.
The very first coin Fortuna gives you is unlike any other. It gains experience each time you win it back out of the machine, permanently unlocking new powers as it grows. This coin journeys through every cabinet, evolving with you across runs.To level it up, you’ll need to win it back before each round ends—a risky challenge that makes every playthrough feel fresh. Don’t panic, though, the First Coin is never lost in a machine—it always returns at the end of a run, stronger if you have earned it. Hit the sweet spot and trigger Euphoria Mode—a chaotic burst of unlimited coins, skyrocketing scores, pulsing music, and dazzling effects. Every machine has its own theme and spectacle, so each burst of Euphoria feels wild in its own way.

Game is ideal for players that like roguelike, combo score, and coin pusher. Your goal is to reach the score for each round with the limited coins. Bouncing the coin on more pegs results in a higher score.
Pros:
None. In it's current state, game is neither fun or fair.
Cons:
- Give more progress for losing a run. 500 tickets to unlock next upgrade requires too much grind and you only get 20-40 tickets per loss. - Tutorial is not clear and needs more work. I watched YouTube video of a demo and that was more clear than the current version. - Make the quests easier to complete or make rounds longer. Giving player 25 coins to reach goal is not enough and I was losing frequently on the first round.
Suggestions:
- Improve tutorial and explain keywords and other gameplay aspects. Still not sure what euprhoria does and how to activate it. I had to navigate to the controls menu to learn how to use ability card. - Add a visual counter to show how close player is to completing the quest. Keeping track of is much easier if player knows how many times we need to push coin or hit an object. - Give a 5 second timer before the quest show ups. If you are low on coi…

In the best way, this is reminiscent of those immensely addictive games you'd get on a PS1 demo disc with the looping (earworm worthy) music, a unique but not overbearing art style and productivity destroying gameplay loop. Progress on upgrades is fairly slow, but that gives you time to learn some of the cards (which serve to keep that slow progress interesting). Scratches the deckbuilder itch, whilst also helping to atone for all those 2ps lost in the arcade.

Really fun game! The graphics are probably the best part I think. Still trying to make it to level 3!

Very enjoyable, pretty addicting gameplay loop, I found myself wanting to get the upgrades for the Trinkets and the grind was fun! I've made it to the 4th machine once so far in around 5 hours which felt rewarding but after a while I found myself wanting to get back, with no luck so far. I do think the 2nd machine is a bit hard, specifically the spinning bit in the centre of the backboard stopping Euphoria build up and I think a bug where the coins get stuck in the side chutes during Euphoria. Overall very enjoyable for the first EA release and looking forward to potential updates!

This game is super fun, it’s a great balance between casual play with enough strategy required to keep it challenging and interesting. Very unique and great fun :D

DO NOT BUY. Not sure what they have done but the tutorial starts off at needing 600 points to progress with 25 coins. Coins get stuck everywhere and you can literally do nothing but drop more. They have no support and good luck if you need to go back through the tutorial, there is nothing that gives you an explanation on how to play.
