After two times going through this game fully I can say a couple of things. It's a great first game by this developer! I really hope the continue to make stuff. I did have a little difficulty figuring out what to do at times but the was mostly because I didn't notice some things the game was telling me. I've noticed other people talking about bugs they experienced in the game I did not personally experience any bugs. Story wise I do wish there was a little more back story besides we are Samantha 19 and babysitting a child for a popular well known couple. I'd love to know what happened to them and the kid. In the end I think this is a great game to get for $4 or especially if you get it cheaper!
Bug big
A short and interesting horror game, it was shorter than I expected and some bugs happened at the end, but I was able to finish it.
[h1]Mediocre horror game with a few chase scenes. Pick up on sale.[/h1] I originally played this on my stream during a 'Trust Issue Thursday' segment I use to try and play mediocre-looking games to try and find diamonds in the rough. I didn't get very far (honestly, the first section is a bit janky and hard to follow, but it looks to have been improved). I recently played it again to get all the achievements and see if it's an OK game or not, and I gotta say...it's mid. It's not a TERRIBLE game, but I feel it is just meh. It doesn't really do anything new, with a run and hide part and two chase sequences and that's pretty much the game. Very short for what it is and not a lot of puzzles. I'd get it on sale if you MUST have it, and I will admit there's some potential here, but there are a few plot holes (How did Odeth get us the piece and then die?) and the janky controls (Can't even look up or down) that prevent this from being a 100% recommend. I [b]WILL[/b] say yes, if only because the dev seems to have gotten rid of the time constraints in the intro to the game (you have chores to do by a certain time and time doesn't stop for you at all). Again, I would only get on sale.
This game has some nice levels of tension and creepiness. For a solo dev - there was A LOT put into this game. There are some moments of quirk but it was an overall enjoyable ride. It had some really nice sound elements and animations that helped to build out the experience. There are a few puzzles that are fairly straight forward. They don't bloat the flow of the game and helped to keep pacing up. This game makes me really intrigued on what games the Dev come out with in the future!
